new EA does not work, charts candlesticks dissappear when applied.

Works perfectly.. The ea creates a black background since you are not interested on the candlesticks of the chart you put the EA on.
We just need a blank chart for the EA so it can draw its figures onto it

Hi ebeckers,
Thanks for the pinbar ea and strat, I have installed all and the dashboard is presently showing a trade on EURNZD but I have noticed that it is not displaying all the pairs stated in the "Pairs To Trade" section.
On my dashboard it is showing only EURNZD, CADJPY, EURGBP, GBPCAD, GBPAUD, GBPJPY, and GBPNZD and most surprisingly it also includes ASK price variations -- eurgbp_ask, audcad_ask, eurjpy_ask, cadjpy_ask, gbpaud_ask, and gbpcad_ask.
What am I to do in order to correct this?

As stated in the first post, The EA is only showing the pairs where setups are valid or building up
Pairs which are not interesting since there is no setup building up at the moment are filtered out and not shown

The EA began by opening the EurNzd/Sell yesterday nite, and closed due to reverse signal, we will see later what happens _
But this is not the point and i wanted to ask why when modifying the mql4 and compiling ...
it becomes full of errors again ? I generally can do little modifications and i careful not to make any mistakes
did you do something to it, have you programmed it this way not do allow modifications ?
Why give the mql4 then, if that is the case _

No offcourse not. Why would i make all source code available if i dont want you guys to compile it ??
Simply copy all the mqh files to your MQL4/include folder
and copy the mq4 experts file to your MQL4/experts folder
and you should be able to compile it.

Yes i thought so, as you are an honest guy
also you made available the mql4 and i did try a few times but all errors again.
i asked cos some times coders put some restrictions, but eventually this was not the case_
I compiled and only changed name to PinbarTrader2_mod to differentiate the name with the 1st version
also a couple of the dll were not in the list, .. Damn i should send a screenshot but i can't now
so later i will do it _ Thanx for assistance

Situation at the moment ..
Just trying out this nice Ea which looks promising though i think some rules
will need to be implemented later on, ex: not to take a hanging man/hammer pin bar,, whatever names
in a continuation trend up/down or wait for more confirmation to spot fakez and so on _
Meanwhile i started my trading day and taken some possible trades Non-Auto chart action only
I am always curious to see differences between Auto/Non-Auto which means (Emotionless Ea -Vs- Emotional human mind decisions)

Once again very nice system you have. If people would have gotten in on the very first signal Friday EUR/USD trading it manually, you could have easily made 140 pips.
I am asking is it possible that you could add the piercing line candle and the engulfing candle I think these would be very nice additions.

You are quite right there ,,
the reason i soon liked this Ea made by Erwin it is not only because of a' pin bar.. ;-)
but mostly because i saw the potential that it could expand in another little Monster Ea
with more parameters and main patterns _
I agree with the engulfing, however what i see many many time happening, it's the Pregnant Harami Bearish which can act as bearish reversal
or bullish continuation .. though often patterns formed in forex charts are confused with stocks non forex charts and have different shape
which are similar but not exactly because of the different stock market conditions and close

Yes this could get very big a little at a time, many more reversal candles could be added.

You guys should check out Zohebs indicator in the "Price action/system indicator" thread It does exactly what you are requesting. Maybe could be incorporated into your EA nicely Ebeckers.
