Goodmorning is there anybody who uses ctrader and can maybe help me out to setup the chart with the correct indicators? I have heiken ashi on the webtrader standerd and on destkop version there isn't....on the webtrader i can use the ema with shift and on de destkop version there isn't this option of shift......and on the destkop version i can add indicators and on de webtrader i cant...so if somebody can help me....please, i will be thankfull

I've tried to get the macd as close as i can to the tdi for now, i have to macd on my chart for now. To check out wich setting are better there allmost identical. I hope It looks like TMS.....

I've been trading the heiken ashi candles for 3 days now and everyday i made +50 pips profit, so i hope i can improve with this system. I never expected it but i actually like to trade the 4H chart

Hi Patje,
Good to know that you are looking at other indicators and doing OK with your trades. +50 daily is good!
Can you share this MACD Crossover indicator and associated templates with us please.

Hey Sachu, i am using the webtrader from ctrader so i cant share the template but all indicators are the standard indicators on ctrader. If you zoom in you can see the settings or else i can give you the settings. i prefer the webtrader so i can login in everywhere i am and save my workspace....the only reason i look at other indicators is to duplicate the tdi... but i hope they will add the tdi indicator soon....because i want try to use the system as is it was ment....thnks for your response

Stay with Big E charts. No exceptions.

Perfect bounce set up. Trail stop is D1(60) ATR.

For your situation the macd settings replicate the TDI well enough.

I'm happy to find a thread where we only talk about the method of BigE !!
I am disappointed by the other initial topic .... or there are settlements and especially we do not focus on the original method .... which is boring for beginners like me!
I will try to share now here, so that one corrects me and evolve towards this method of BigE!

I've been reading Big E's posts from the original thread, and one thing on which I could use some clarification, is exiting. I realize there is some personal discretion on the matter, so if anyone could share their thoughts that would be great.

If iI understand correctly, when there is a "tweak" in the green TDI line, that is more of call to pay close attention. I have noticed that with Heiken Ashi Bars, when they first appear, they already have size, which can suggest potential price action. Plus, with a new bar, the TDI may start out with a tweak. Sometimes it seems like Big E would exit at the start of the candle, possibly out of convenience for his daily routine. I watched some candles today that started that way, but as time progressed, the tweak straightened out, the exit signal was no longer there, and price continued to rise. (I would post a chart, but it wouldn't show the movement since it pics are static)

Is it helpful to look at PA on smaller time frames to confirm an exit, or do you always exit at a tweak in the green TDI and then re-enter on the bounce?

From Big E

Entries and exits...

We Enter a trade when green crosses red on the TDI at the beginning of that candle... If it's candle 3 or more don't enter... find another trade set up. The only exception is if green bounces off red and continues... it's ok to re-enter on the bounce...

Exit your trade when the green TDI line goes flat, starts to hook over or makes a check mark reversal.

If you add other things it will influence your decisions... usually to your detrament. Don't try to complicate it thinking it can't be this easy.

Important to study TDI entries on old charts, any time frame... Give yourself a chance and trade it like it's layed out...

Just tripped across this thread. Was following original , but agree it got way off track of Big E 5 method. Looking forward to no BS, just trade support.
I'm still learning/practicing 5 Method.

What you ideally want to see from a bounce trade is to have enough PA to make the HA change color, or at the very least cause an inside bar. This gives you a pullback that is large enough to break sentiment, but not large enough to change trend, when you get the bounce on the TDI this the signal that the trend is resuming and you can jump in, with a stop at the top of the entire swing.
