Over the past two weeks, I tested the Awesome SMA strategy on a 5 minute interval with a 25 minute expiration. The strategy for the M5 interval proved to be effective. The official summary of these test statistics is available in a separate article. In the meantime, however, requests have been made that the strategy should also be tested on its original time interval, ie 1 minute with a 5 minute expiration. So this week I will continue to test Awesome SMA strategy, but on the interval M1. If the result is positive, the test will be extended to two weeks. If, however, it turns out that at a lower interval this strategy will be very lossy, the test breaks after a week.

MA AO Stochastic Strategy – Test Summary

During the past two weeks (10 sessions), between 8:00 and 16:00, on the observed currency pairs the MA AO Stochastic strategy generated a total of 189 signals. 101 of them turned out to be profitable and 88 lossy. This means that the effectiveness was 53.44%. Taking into account the rates of return on investments, which at the uTrader broker range between 76% and 81% in total, by making 189 transactions, we could lose 9.76: 1.
