Hi Exnav

Hope you well my friend, no never traded DAX done shares/stocks years ago and I am also trading gold quite a lot nowadays for the same reason Jupiter says about it trending better than FX at the moment.

No right or wrongs in whatever we all do, all that matters is profit and account protection.

If it works do not try to fix what is not broken my friend, wishing you good continuing luck with the DAX.

seems like a waste of "time, effort and money" that is if you trade currencies.
you're setting yourself up for a failure.

in case of DAX that's a different story - as they tend to trend even on 1m, but ironically yes DAX appears to be intimidating and sometimes "too wild" for currency traders myself included, I've lost 20s of trade on DAX myself, BUT for those who knows exactly what they're doing and what they're looking for it is truly worth every bit of second of screen time, waiting for a potential setup to occur, in case of currencies well you never know sometimes they do move at certain times like asian , frankfurt and london open but then of course they're too many fakeys especially on lower TFs. I hate crosses, they're wilder than DAX but trend less often no wonder many choose to trade majors.
