If i may, the interesting thing about all the zones on our charts is that there are only 4 types rally base drop, drop base drop for supply; and drop base rally and rally base rally for demand.
The rally base drops and drop base rallies are usually (not always) created as a result of zones to the left of them hence terms like associated or none-authentic etc are sued by Supply and demand traders.
On the other hand, rally base rallies and drop base drops are usually created independently, not directly as a result of a zone to the left........BUT is that really the case? I contend that it is often not and i will tell you why, so please stay with me now.
Let us consider for a minute that prices are coming down to a lovely structured demand zone. They then pause before the demand zone and form a drop base drop that eventually carries price into the demand zone. Was that Drop base drop created as a result of the demand?
Yes, how? that drop base drop was an accumulation of sell orders by institutions in preparation for an assault on the demand zone below. It has been created with the aim being to have a base from which to lay siege (please excuse the war analogies
) to the buyers. So the demand works because there are orders there but the presence of the drop base drop supply limits the profit margin.I hope you see what i am trying to explain. I would urge you not to get into the trap of looking for which one works more etc. I would suggest focusing more on the quality of the zones and the profit margin you have more than any thing else.

I would add that in looking at the trade suing a multiple timeframe lens, there is very little profit margin, at least for the way i trade,
