Let's put this into perspective. They claim to have multiple LPs in which they aggregate the feeds to provide the best bid and ask. There's no way you can have a system that's programmed to look at multiple quotes push out 100 pip spikes from any one - single rogue data stream. If we're going along with this rogue data story then they are lying about their liquidity partners since they only had one data feed. No matter how you cut it they're lying about something.

If that's what you consider good and honest....hmmmmmm

I'm not saying this wasn't weird, or isn't causing problems. My point is that, so far, it seems to be some kind of honest "glitch" of some kind, at least on the part of Trader's Way themselves. I mean, from what I'm seeing personally, and what I'm hearing from most others, the company is currently working to fix any account/trade issues this has caused for its clients. And besides, if this was some kind of "scam", something intentional done by T'sWay, why only now, why only this one time? After years of doing business, and pretty good reviews over that time, they suddenly decide to do something crazy? WHY? I'm not buying it. As others who've actually had accounts with these guys have said, they've been good up till, so if they handle this current weirdness decently, my opinion of them will actually go up. The one thing I will give you, though, is the question about how the (apparently) single data provider caused the spikes. You'd think there'd be some kind of safeguards in place to prevent that. But if they weren't already, T'sWay now claims they're doing stuff to make sure that's the case. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Oh, one more thing I forgot: I mentioned how I know this is "causing problems". Well, who is it causing the MOST problems for? Seems to me, it's the employees of T'sWay itself. They're having to go through likely thousands of accounts, and tens of thousands of orders, one-by-one, to make corrections. WHY would they do something (intentionally) that they knew would lead to that?

Well for starters I know for a fact their feed is slow and there are public youtube videos comparing their feed to other brokers and they were definitely getting picked off by arbitrageurs. If I were running a shady book and I knew I was getting picked off I'd have my revenge by feeding their algos the juiciest fuckin' meal they've ever had (tradable-spikes) and then deny their profits. This might or might not be the actual case, but it's literally the actual net-result. The accounts that took advantage of the spikes sized up as much as possible at two separate brokers, and now that they effectively nullified the hedge by denying profits there are a lot of one-side trades at other brokers that resulted in some major losses. So you go ahead and shill for TW till you're blue in the face IDC, but what happened was as far from an honest mistake as a broker can make. Good luck

I treat any FX broker much like a gold digging girlfriend. Im happy when she's good to me, but always sleep with one eye open. lol

Well I don't claim I know everything either, just expressing what I know according to what I see and experienced with similar non-ECN brokers with some being casino brokers. To me, it's not worth it to test them further. The jury is already in. LOL If it's not a duck, it's NOT a duck. They are just NOT an ECN. Very simple. LOL

As long as they are making money, they might not be running away with your money but again, if you read what I have written, it's going to be VERY hard to pretty much impossible to make money with them. You don't believe me and you want to test it with your own money that you don't mind never seeing again? Go right ahead, give them a try to get your "final judgement"! LOL We will be looking forward to seeing "true evidence and facts". LOL

You need to get better girlfriends. You won't sleep well with one eye open and that's going to kill your health. Not worth dying a slow death over a gold digger. LOL

Will see how it goes, like i said before they are one of three FX brokers that i use (also the oldest at 2.5 years) and have made money with them. I also haven't had any issues with numerous withdrawals over that time as well.

If things start to go south then i'll move on.

Although Forexia brings up some good points. Its the price spike which caused the recent increase in commentary on TradersWay.
So What we have here is .

1. - A history of good customer service.
2. - An unwillingness to Identify an Address for the company, Or any other names of company representatives.
3. - And a recent price spike on TradersWay only. Not on other brokers price feeds.

1. A. - The reviews I have read all complaints were adequately resolved. I have yet to have a problem with TradersWay. TradersWay has been Perfect.
2. A. - The unwillingness to Identify an address to most people reeks of a scam waiting to happen, although I don't think it automatically means scam.
And This problem could be pretty much handled in an instant by Tradersway. Some moderate investigation time by anyone else could solve the this
problem
3. A. - The recent price spike on TradersWay was handled responsibly by TradersWay by making appropriate adjustments to accounts and prices. I have not
found anyone yet who ended up losing on this price spike Show me someone who lost money on the Recent TradersWay spike that did not have their
complaint resolved.

Good points. And as I suggested earlier, I have to wonder exactly WHY this particular broker is getting mad-mouthed so badly, mainly by people who have never been clients. I have a theory, maybe not a good one, but it's this: Trader'sWay is one of the tiny handful of offshore brokers who accept U.S. clients. If more of these brokers popped up, and if they all started to gain good reputations, then what would that do to U.S.-based brokers? Brokers who feel they must abide by the idiotic "rules" of FIFO, low leverage, no hedging, etc. Well, I would imagine that such brokers would start to lose a LOT of clients... and would lose them to brokers such as Trader'sWay.

(Just my opinion... I could be dead wrong of course)

Were you one of the accounts that was affected by these price spikes? You obviously weren't because if you were, you would've talked about your personal experience and you wouldn't have asked someone to show you how they lost money. If you weren't, then were you an insider in Tradersway? Somebody working for Tradersway? A broker, introducing broker affiliated with Tradersway? Otherwise again the question, HOW and WHY would you be so sure that they were "handled responsibly by TradersWay by making appropriate adjustments to accounts and prices?"

And when NOWHERE anywhere on the Internet was the address of Tradersway ever published and yet you would have the address information of Traderway. WHERE did you get that information?

If you are an insider of Traderway, somebody who works for Tradersway or affliated with Traderway in anyway, just so you know, you are supposed to have your status changed to "Commercial Member" so all members of FF can be aware of any possible bias in your comments. This is a rule that applies to ALL members of FF.

Really? LOL You think a US trader would prefer a broker located in a place that they don't even know that has scant regulations and absolutely no recourse should anything happen to their money over a regulated broker located in their home country? You think those US regulated brokers actually feels threatened by some off-shore brokers that are dime-a-dozen all over the internet? LOL And lastly WHY would those off-shore brokers be motivated to "gain good reputations" when US traders, being so restricted by the US regulations are desperate to flock to these off-shore brokers? They face no competition from other brokers because other brokers would not even want to take US traders. All those US regulations, supposedly designed to "protect" the US investing public really has not done anything but hurt the investing public by 1) restricting their choices for decent brokers and 2) pushing them off to off-shore brokers located in countries that has even less regulations. But that's a discussion for another time.

I was just trying to give my assessment on what I think what kind of broker Tradersway is really, not really "mad-mouthing" it. I call it as it is. If I feel a forex broker is NOT an ECN broker, I point it out and Tradersway is NOT the only broker that I have given assessment about and I have said worse things about other brokers. The world of retail forex industry is very confusing with absolutely no transparency, pricing or transactional and I feel if it's something that I am aware of, I should share it with other members of FF so everybody especially anybody who's new to forex trading can be aware of the risks.

OK Forexia now you are making me laugh.

Don't Jump to conclusions, especially negative ones without evidence. This is often a mistake in life. Reverse Flash posted the address of Tradersway earlier on this very forum. So this rule of being a "commercial member" would need to apply to Reverse Flash and not me obviously. However Reverse Flash Got the address from the internet so your assumption would be wrong there as well. You see why you shouldn't jump to negative conclusions?

Are you just firing randomly at imaginary enemies? You don't want to do that. That wont do anything except put some potential allies at risk.

Look, I know brokers have been nefarious in the past, I know brokers that have been honest in the past. I have so much experience with brokers I don't want to go into all of it.

Now you have raised a few good points I admit. But there is no reason to go nuclear on everyone else who might also have valid points. Lets try and stick to the facts here and make progress.

OK here we go again Forexia. Don't assume we don't prefer better brokers in better situations. That is just plain silly. Of course us US Traders prefer better situations but our GOVERNMENT has made that impossible. So I am guessing that most of us are in a situation where we have at least 2 brokers. I have 5 brokers. Ones in the US and several outside the US.

This is why the Ratmach theory I think is barking up the right tree at least. And he said very clearly it was a theory and he could be wrong.

So now that we are talking theories. I have a theory I want to see what you Think about. Now as you know the Federal Reserve likes to manage the economy through the stock market. If extra money, printed money, flows in to stocks it might cause inflationary pressure to lag for a very long time because it is going into stocks bonds options etc. instead of into consumer goods. And then when stock markets crash only a few are left holding the gains and so the printed money goes into other forms of capital and not into FOOD Prices and Transportation Prices which would cause a national uprising against the Federal Reserve. Also there are many interested parties making money on fees in the stock market. So the government in the US could be completely against US traders using forex as opposed to other forms of investments like stocks bonds etc. You follow? So they basically made sure that forex isnt as good as it could be for US traders and have attempted to regulate it in a way that hamstrings the traders and makes it comparable to stocks bonds etc. rather than being BETTER than stock market trading. Then they force all advertisers to place a warning that says "you could lose all your initial investment" This combined with a few schools of thought which teach all the wrong things about forex and what you get on the back end is that HARDLY ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT FOREX AS AN INVESTMENT TOOL in the US and no one thinks it is better than stocks bonds etc.
It is absurd that in the country where we pride ourselves on freedom. We have all this silly restrictions on Forex in the US - The worlds foremost superpower.

One possibility on why TradersWay is not forthright about its address and membership is that GOVERNMENTS come after you

Brokers go out of business for several reasons:

1. A scam eventually runs with customer money, but they dont always get away with it.
2. A good broker can go bad when they hire a few scammers, eventually the customers run.
3. Scammers in company can start backstabbing one another.
4. A series of bad financial decsions or one big whopper financial decision takes them out
5. Governments take them out as well.


I am sure there are others but these are the ones I have personally seen or heard of
