It's obvious that I had to change my picture, since Robert De Niro is 5 years older than me. This is me and my wife at the Grand Canyon a few months back.

Anyway, perceive what you want and I'll do the same. My observation is the time the markets move is when the central banks open. Of course, when Boeing or some other big dog does an exchange you will notice it. Other than that, us little people are just farts in the wind. Can we add weight to the big boys? Sure but we are not the impetus by any stretch.

However, the forexfactory board is great for those who get all entangled by some bull or bear getting 10,000 pips and they actually think they actually put a blip in the price action. Go believe it... most here do. It's a crack up to read some of these posts how they got 'tricked' and 'manipulated'. It is funny. If they knew how the market worked, they would be embarrassed.

I will say this, at least in the old days... the retail market did play a roll in the Sunday opening where anybody could scalp 40 pips quite regularly. Those days seem to be gone too.

What exactly do you refer by " old days" . Still possible to me to scalp 40 pip. I posted before already back in 2008-9 my favorite strategy was " Sunday gap closing " fast money even with high swap. Manipulated? Yes. I have prove. FXCM blew my account by triggering my SL and not activating my trades . High spikes for no reason etc etc. Ofcourse they all do that, some small some big. If you know market so well, you should know that in order for someone to earn money here someone have to loose money. I have numbers of screenshots and video when my TP was crossed over 10 pip and never closed eventually turned in to loss. So what exactly changed in your terms?

its Monday morning 8 AM here

subject to last week high, looks like my exit is decently aligned, might go higher, will adjust tp if momentum picks up

300? 600? That's nothing... I'm looking for a drop of around 1100, down to about 1.075 or so. Da gap, da gap!

I started forex a little over 10 years ago so to me that's the old days. Loved the Sunday gap but after awhile the gaps went to around 10 pips or so. Maybe it's back up to gapping strong, I have no clue because I don't watch it anymore. Just recently I got back into trading at the beginning of the year. My break even is just under $10,000 so I've gotten pretty beat up over the years. Anyway, my strategy only makes sense to those who are under the restriction of the Dodd-Frank Act where we got FIFO and the margin restrictions. Actually the margin restrictions work in my favor but the FIFO is a killer. Some brokers are not as good as others. Forex.com is by far the best broker I've had.

Due to banking holiday in Europe on Tuesday, Aug 15, 2017 (the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary holiday), most likely today will be at least a medium volatility trading day, and tomorrow a tight ranging trading day.

And the Z-pattern shows on daily a beautiful down movement to 1.17325 level...
