I am happy to hear that, and as you just articulated that we don't hear about it is because the Mass Cultural apparatuses like media corporate conglomerates are waging a war against free speech! Indeed, more and more people need to take a stand to fight back, the more the merrier!

1. Subliminal Marxist indoctrination in my book means PC crap. Other than the comment about Trump building the wall and being glad that Macron won the election, there has been no other political statement at school. It may have something to do with the email I fired, stating the law and warning the Head, she was in breach of it. However, I can go on all day about the PC stuff that happens. Most notably would be sports day: there are never any winners, they go to great lengths to ensure that. There are heats but no finals, there are "team games" like throwing bean bags into hoops and jumping over hurdles about 20 cm high. There are awards on sports day, however, for "respect," "kindness," "politeness" etc and it invariably goes to the fattest and most unsporty kid.

When I was at school, we always knew where we came in everything, in sport and academically, but nowadays there is none of that. No one knows. We had test and exam papers handed back to us in order of score, so everyone knew. Can't have competition these days. Might hurt some delicate feelings.

That is the state school system. Private education is a very small percentage, yet most of our Olympians were privately educated. What a massive waste of talent in the state system.

2. I see the work that kids take into school. It is pretty damn obvious what is done by an adult and what is done by a child. Even if it is in the child's own writing, when the spelling, grammar and punctuation is perfect, you know that is not the work of a 6 year old. As I said before, a lot of homework set is beyond the capabilities of the children. This is a deliberate ploy by the school to ensure parental involvement. When my older one was 7, I remember she had to write a poem using alliterations and days of the week. How can a 7 year old do that? I did it and she got top marks, lol.

I have hope but fear the marches and demonstrations do not have that great an impact. Any momentum is shut down pronto.

The sports day nonsense really bugs me and years ago I took my kids off to another school because of it. I recently went to my G/sons sports day and pleased to say they had winners and losers. It's life, get them ready for it !! Not all this "we are all equal shite."

Beat me to it with this one Dev. Anything right of centre is being silenced by starving them out. I wonder how much cost wise to set up a rival to youtube and will it attract advertisers ? So for any tech geeks here what is required in terms of hardware and sq footage to get something going ? Or if anyone knows of an existing venture we should be thinking about getting the word out.

Sounds a lot like what you are saying is more to do with standardization operands with a hidden agenda. The PC crap, I assure you is not subliminal, but cultural indoctrination of the Marxist kind that is passed as acceptable norms of cultural appropriation instituted by the Government and other elitists entities. In the US the same measures were being implemented such as common core curriculum, which in a sense was designed to make everyone dumb. Enough parents protested against it's implementation to put a stop to it. It is one of the reasons Jeb Bush was so unpopular because he supported it.

Yes he does! You know that guy is a fireman in his day job, so I applaud him for the efforts he has put in so far. But yeah, you are right with Youtube and their BS, it is really a problem right now. But there are alternatives, and I am hoping that if youtube continues this assault on things such as free speech, that another platform will emerge for such users to migrate to.

I heard that too about the Somali cop. The mayor fired the police chief over this incident, and while at her press conference was shouted down for herself to resign. These sociopaths that keep getting elected have no clue as to what is happening or how to solve problems, which is why all this bad stuff is happening at alarming rates with no real recourse to correct the problems. I was actually shocked to learn that a immigrant who is not a naturalized US born citizen was allowed and trusted to be a law enforcement official in the US. Some crazy times we live in. I hope the woman's family not only gets justice, but they find peace from this horrible tragedy. I can't imagine what they are going through right now.

Watched the Trump rally in West Virginia last night. Governor Jim Justice switched to the Republican party. Trump called out congress for not keeping their campaign promises. Also questioned why special prosecutor not investigating Clinton's and uranium deal,ect. House republicans calling for a special prosecutor to investigate all the democrats where there is plenty of evidence of crimes.

There is a open revolution (non-shooting at this point) going on in the US. Everywhere Trump goes there is standing room only. It is he and the working class against the establishment elites, Hollywood and the msm. I'm betting on us.

With the obesity rates of millenials, it is likely that they will be the first generation ever not to outlive that of their parents'. So there is hope!

I saw a book called "Five on Brexit Island." I think it is an attempt to parody Enid Blyton. When I was a kid, I loved Enid Blyton and the famous five, so this did not impress me for several reasons. There is one way you can get through to kids and that is through books. Sort of an antidote to JK Rowling?
