hey yoenes..... have just about finished writing it from scratch..... all i really needed was the picture...... if i can see a picture i can code it.....

draco posted a tip that led me to excel sheet which had all the formulas.....


working on the graphs now.....h

i got the ex4 decompiled to mq4.

Check it out... hayseed don't waste time to rebuild from new.


edit: took the file off... lucky ones got it... lol !

Is it possible for you to create an excel spreadsheet that using the same formula on the indicator that you are creating for Yoenes?? I hope that the spreadsheet could plot a graph showing on the different time frame, as a bar chart only display the current time on the strength but we can't know before this current time, how weak or strong is the currency with Commodities & Indices.

I still prefer to see line on the graph "cross" & using excel as I feel that if too much indicator is on MT4, it will lag if the indicator is coding poorly, excel is another way that don't "interfere" MT4 & by it's own, we also can modify the data that how it calculate in excel.

I've attached on one of my modified version on the "forexgrail excel spreadsheet", too bad, my excel programming is too weak, can't think of solution plot all the data to a graph chart as mention like example on the following link: http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...8&postcount=82 which I tried to do a similiar one with a combine of this line chart shown on this link that I'll be able to see the "previous" data time on the strength: http://www.mataf.net/en/forex-charts/c-index

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread, just hope Hayseed can provide a solution since he's the only programmer that is helping out on this thread & I could see that both of us want the samething, to able to "Glance all the market with their strength" at one time.

I was just thinking how we can improve this dashboard an i came to the idea if we can get the intrest rate for each single currency on the dahsboard that updat itself automaticly that will be very good to help us make a deccicion.

I just came to the idea that i like to see ulso the dutch AEX on the dashboar im leaving in the netherlands and i like to watch it can you please if you plan to make the dashboard ulso but the AEX in it or make it as an option wich symbols i want to see on the strength meter?

You must modify the syntax of yours formules like this :
=DDE("MT4";"HIGH";"EURUSD")
=DDE("MT4";"ASK";"EURUSD")
=DDE("MT4";"BID";EURUSD")
=DDE("MT4";"LOW";"EURUSD")
 and so on

if he dont have it and hayseed you like to code a indicator relatief to this one with the indices symbols then i thing its better to make the symbol names as an option so that every body can use it and set the symbols name given by his broker. ulso for gold oil and silver its nice in a quik look to get a pictur wath is strong and wath is weak in the market.
