Now, I challenge you. Make it automatic in your psych. That is make it as something that is usual. You don't even think about it and you get profit...
Even if you lose, you just move to the next attempt without even a flinch (no comments, no nothing, just a machine LOL).

Just as usual when loaded the first time with a previously used Magic then opens straight away
but if i reset all, then it does not do it_

Yes the Oninit( was a problem and didn't start the event and the log was saying about the zero return value
and now seems to be fine and all initialized finely_

Glad to see that from a list of 8 pairs, all 8 pairs were taken and after 2 min 2 pairs disappeared
and all stayed the same .. though i think that is the way it was before .. anyway

It's strange how much mentality plays a part of this, even in semi automatic trading. My best results are when I know a good setup (news, etc.) set the basket and wake up or come back to profit. I'm US central time, so typically my good baskets are while I'm sleeping. I've found myself closing baskets early on live and the mirror basket on my demo will do much better in most cases. If you could remove emotion from trading, many more people would be millionaire traders.

Just two things, I have in Mind -
1- Could you provide the most optimized set file you have used so far for the v37.7.7. or should the defaults be fine.
2- The report you have attached in the link is it for a live account or is it demo.

Agreed 101 % ... Funny you say this, as this morning i had printed a photo to take near my Pcs
not to ever do this mistake again especial when it is live stuff...
So I opened a Basket set the screenshot to run every 15 minz, and after initial spread and few pips down, i carried on doing other things
after some time i saw it in profit and satisfied went for shopping... and on my return a shocking -945 pips down...
so well, decided to get a coffee and sleep and morning i got surprised how the almost 1000 pips were recovered + 236 more ...
i only did it because on monthly this is normal and the weekly and daily charts didn't seem too bad ...
So yes becoming millionaire by forgetting and going to sleep ? mmhh maybe, but what you said has some truth in it
and psychologically it is very true _

You mean that ccfp_wk4.htm?? Yea that is live and that is an earlier report. I stopped reporting around week 10. This is the post with that last report.

I don't have persay an optimize set. I started using my own open time (11 GMT) with a TP=10% and SL=0. I trade Mondays (some times Tuesday/Wednesday) and avoid red news/bank holidays.
It's simple..

I think that account is up to $6500 at the moment. I'll check... later, maybe I'll post an updated report....

This could be a super noob question. But, when you say you trade Mondays that implies opening all trades on the beginning of the week at 11gmt on a Monday.

1- When your weekly basket opens on Monday and closes on Friday. How do you avoid the news, do you remove the pairs with news or are you using a daily trading method.
2- When you say sometimes Tuesdays or Wednesdays, does that mean your basket starts on tuesday and continues till friday.

10080, True / False, Level 2, MAD, 11 GMT....7%-10% TP for Week..............SL 3%-5% Daily ( Stop immediately once you reach this point, and restart next day with same settings )...........Repeat this process until you either reach -15% for the week or you reach your 7%-10% TP.....which ever happens first. DO NOT trade on High Impact Red Flag New Days OR Bank Holiday's

Anyone who is new to the thread and/or is having problems understanding all of the different dashboards and indicators. My recommendation is to go back to Page 1 and read the ORIGINAL rules and use the ORIGINAL indicator ( CCFp ) and the ORIGINAL EA for this thread ( Xmess7 ). I would put most of your focus on the first 80% of this thread. K.I.S.S.

I'm pretty sure I just read in another post of Xmess7 that he has changed his settings to TP 10% and SL 0. What he does is watches the basket himself and trades it semi manually. If you don't have time to watch the basket every 3 to 4 hours then set your SL to 10%. I hope this is helpful.

Hi bojack34,

Your help is much appreciated. Just wanted to let you know, did make an honest effort to go through the thread and find the info, just got a little confused with how Xmess7 was using the EA which slightly differs to the original rules.

But, nonetheless your comment has cleared out all my confusion. Thank you so much for responding.

Are you sure we restart this process daily if we hit 3-5% SL? I was of the understanding we stop for the week - we just either hit TP or SL once during the week.

xmess are you able to clarify?

Folks:
After you read this post please re-download Beta17 or v37.7.7.
I made some additional updates and also had some other folks verify that the updates worked correctly. Since this was done in a quick manner I didn't change the versions.

On another note, the discrete open hours should now work. By Discrete I mean when you enter a series of open hours separated y a comma.
for example entering the hours you want the EA to open like so: 03:40,05:40,11:00,13:34,19:23

I have not tested this completely but I did test to ensure that the EA will at the least recognize which is the NEXT hour to use.
So if GMT right now is 05:00 then from the list above you will see that the EA will display 05:40, which is the next hour that the EA will try to open a basket or vBasket.
If a basket is still open the EA will continue to monitor it and not look at the list. Once the basket is closed the EA will then continue on to the NEXT hour that follows the time that the basket was closed.

This may be useful for folks that want to program several open hours that are after Red News Events/Political Events that affect the market.

That's correct Ivanyo.. We STOP and SOOHs (Sit On Our Hands) if we hit Target SL or Target TP. In my case Target TP=10% and target SL=-10%

So what Bo is eluding to is to try to keep your SL as low as possible so you have another chance to try again the next day. But you always need to keep in mind your targets... once one is hit then you SOYHs (Sit On Your Hands) LOL

One request for the next version, manually opening a basket but still use virtual basket. "Use virtual basket on manual true/false".

Click on the green tick in front of the selected pair.

I use it to deselect correlating pairs.
