Honestly, I don't think you did anything wrong, i see a nice entry zone on the 8H chart.
The only thing that refrained me from taking this trade is that the zone formed on the Weekly, the reaction was good on the Daily, but not really strong enough...I like to see a nice bearish engulfing pattern, once that happens look for smaller time frames for an entry. This would be the confirmation type of trade.
For a blind entry, set and forget, I think you should've taken the weekly SZ directly

Slowly gaining my confidence back on SAF trades at the moment Been on a losing streak on my very first live account. I hope it's normal. Tho i have already told myself that this account is meant to be blown for emotional experince and setting my own rules wise , i still feel terrible. Haven't really hit my first TP without it being adjusted. SAD seems so easy when you understand. But it's very very difficult to apply with all the nuances around.

If price were to drop from here on the EURCHF after hitting my tight SL , i would drop my head too lol. Let's see how it goes.

Thanks for your reply ! I usually take confirmation trades once H4 ascending TL have been solidly broken , dosen't matter if it's broken on the D1. as long ask WK and D1 is fresh. Thats my only rule so far for confirmation trades.

And if WK is tested or D1 as well . I would wait for D1 to be broken creating supply and shorting that supply withing my H4 TF. I do not really have rules for playing in the middle of the curve yet. So far just trying an error on the ends of each trend / curve. Hope i'll get my first true win anytime.

Do you mind doing a TDA for this trade? I dont see why this is already working out. The D1 descending TL have been broken. Price is bouncing from WK Demand. Thanks alot minosd !

I'm looking at this zone to short on the H4 Within the D1 if price closes as it is creating 1 OHCL candle away. Would be better if it removes the D1 DZ.

I think one possibility to consider may be that there was nothing wrong with your trade.
One other consideration is that of the trend on the euro right now

Yes, but it is used in trend following, and counter-trend trades also. It is a flexible system

Dear traders,

Today i had hit on my second third SL. I guess this month will not be mine. Last moth was great, but now three losses by the row, butt last two ware made by experimenting. I think better is to follow basic rules and when they are like second nature then to look for new type entries and rules.
I just miss my type entries. So I was running for market instead of sitting on hands.

Hope you will learn this lesson without making mistakes like I did.

The negative on this trade is that big red candle on 12/07. This makes me think some supply is already gone, this makes the SZ weaker.

If i may, i think a definition for freshness may help you going forward.

The Freshness of a zone is determined by looking to the right of the zone
The assessment being made by looking right is whether or not price has returned to the price level since the price level was created.

That line you refer to as resistance is also a Drop-base-drop Supply zone
