Another day in Topstep complete. YM trades, that last one was real nice. Excited to get this account live, altho a little confused how that works. Think when you go to the next step they monitor your trading and then when they feel you're ready and have cushion they make you live. Going to read a little more on that.

Great trades and how you managed the grinding PA. Over time I have learned that when Relative Volume (compared to past 14 days) on ES is small (around 0.8 and under) there is not much action and just slow grinding and without much follow on squeeze breakouts.

Enjoy your holiday. Be prepared, it is quite cold here in EU

Great on noticing the volume flush and going for the break in the opposite direction.

Couple trades on YM today, had some big days past few days, got funded with APEX in 1 day.. just finished day 2 in the PA account. +$644 total in that account. Have to trade a minimum of 10 trading days obeying all there rules before can request a payout. Goal is to make $200-$300 per day with $500 max stop loss per day, and make a small withdrawal after the 10 days. Then keep it rolling, and build a cushion before I increase to 2 lots. Topstep almost passed the combine, have to make $400 more to move on.

YM trades from today, missed that epic drop, but that's okay. passed topstep and day 3 in funded Apex account done. +$1,200 . Gotta keep it up. Traded NG as well but thats posted elsewhere, these YM trades posting here cuz I'm utilizing some of Rocky's style.

I always check the news as that's one of my trading strategies. I knew prelim UoM was today, but then just forgot... I got long YM and then bam after release stop run blood bath... This is a news report I usually trade, AFTER it's released. Whoops. First red day in Apex account. Green in Topstep XFA thanks to Gold trades post non-farm release . But.... lesson learned.

I'm struggling a bit, can't get really comfortable with the Heiken/tick candles. Generally seeing charts too messy for me visually. While I was in Tucson spent some time looking for alternative and right now it's 1 min. heiken ashi. Changed setting on MACD to 9-18-6 and got rid of OBV for WPR set at 20. Traded this morning and had an incredible day. Traded 1 ct on the ES instead of usual 4. This looked much better visually for me. Also changed EMA's to 4 hi/lo. Today was a trending day so trading a good bit easier, we'll see what future days bring....
What settings do you use on Ninjatrader to create this "tunnel" using the same EMA? Thx.
You set the EMA's one for the high and 1 for the low. Yes I never got comfortable with heiken ashi/tick candles, so I switched to 1 min.

One short on YM and one long on NQ, YM was weakest on the day... however had a nice long setup as well that I took NQ instead, rocking steady. Been doing well in Apex and Topstep accounts.
