DislikedSubject: Seeking Guidance on Sideways Markets Dear Rockypoint, Thank you for sharing your insights and posts about your method. I’ve been following your work closely and have started applying your approach to my trading. Today, the market was particularly challenging, with a lot of sideways movement. I was wondering if you could kindly share your advice on how to identify and avoid trading on days like this when the market is in a sideways trend. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, SzabolcsIgnored

DislikedReally like your system, its similar to mine, I have been using the ttm squeeze with recent swing hi/lo pivots for a long time. I read all through your system and like how you've progressed it from the beginning. Most impressive to me is how you're able to keep your losses so small. On ES I usually have about a 4 point stop, 16 ticks. I know you say you use 20-25 tick stops generally, how are you trailing them? I need to go back and re-read i'm sure you've posted on it before. I notice a lot of your exits are on candle closes of the middle of the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes I start with a 20-25 tick stop will move to 10 ticks once I'm up 10 ticks, then around 20/30 profit to B/E. I do all this manually, never cared for trailing stops. Since I'm just trading 2-3 hours I don't see the need, I'm watching the chart. On bigger wins 40+ I will keep moving stop to hold onto the profit. Yes I very often use the median line to close out trades, helps keep losses down. Yes I would be inclined to exit a trade moving against me quickly again it helps minimize losses and I can always reenter if I was wrong to exit....Ignored
DislikedFinally a decent day of PA 6 trades. Started day with a huge win followed by 2 losses, then a solid win, a loss and then another solid win. Took 1 more trade a decent win, think that's it for the day. {image}Ignored
