PA not strong and a little messy today. Had to wait a little after the open for a small win, then a nice win on a reversal of a weak move down. Bearish divergence
was setting up but never signaled on ADX.

3 more trades to finish the day 2 small wins and a solid win. The day is done.

Finish the week with my best day, PA kind of slowish DEC contract lost a bit of volume today. So next week probably switching to mar contracts. But picked up 2 nice sized wins and 2 small wins. Finished with just over 100 ticks for the day.

Hi rockypoint, wow, nice day, congrats! I tried trading your system but got a bit chopped up during the week, though today was a good day, I admit

My main problem I believe is the squeeze of the BBs, I just seem to enter in the wrong places too many times. I am wondering how essential this is to your system and whether this could be traded without the BB completely, only leaving the middle line (or an SMA) for exits? I mean you seem to enter when RSI is on the right side of 50 and ADX turns up when it's over the 25 level. What do you think?

For example, your last +50 monster trade, I don't even see an expansion of the BB lines at your entry but I do see the RSI well below 50 and a sudden turn of the ADX. I guess you were waiting for the ADX to turn up and immediately entered?

One more question, I see you have narrowed the BB's to 6 period length from 10 previously?
Okay, okay, upon VERY careful inspection of my ES chart I did detect a slight BB expansion on your last trade entry
So here's the NQ chart from the same time period as your ES chart. I took off BBs, added a 6 period SMA and simulated what would have happened if I had entered each time 6 period ADX turned up (above 25 level of course) and then exited when price closed on other side of the SMA, just like you do with BB middle line.

237 points in about 1,5 hours, I mean that is still freakin awesome, I barely captured half of that today peering at those bollinger bands

Day started out well for first three trades then market went flat, with a small loss and 2 small wins. Then i had to go break up a fight. Somehow 2 cats got into
our compound and Raitas did not like that at all this her turf and she doesn't share. Raitas is also a big cat, she's a rescue but she must have some big genes in there somewhere since she's 18 lbs of muscle. Anyway wound up taking the 2 cats(strays) to the vet, to get their cuts taken fixed up. The vet will neuter them and see about finding them homes.
Anyway not a bad Monday.

Excellent day today PA decent, got a little jumpy at times. 3 solid wins and 2 decent ones.
Been cooking for a pot luck party tomorrow, little Xmas Regalo with some friends. Making Pulled pork with orange, chipotle sauce.

Not an easy day today, had to fight Mr. Market, but ended up at Breaking even and happy about it. + 0. Thank you Mr. Market.

When I grow up, I want to be like Rocky and will not have even a single loosing day in the last 4 years. (ha ha)

I will then become billionaire and will not draw blue circles with numbers around the charts.

Ok an excellent morning. I'm done for the day. I have things to do to get the house ready for our party. PA was steady, missed a long move down. Caught a little bit of it. Then I took a divergence and was happy a decent move up, then after a short squeeze I was surprised by another move back up for best trade of the day.

Hi rockypoint, beatiful day! Can I ask what kind of ADX you are using, is it somehow aligned to the HA candles? My ADX 6 is consistently different from yours and I am wondering where the difference may lie...
It's the standard ADX on Ninja trader set to 6 periods. It might make a difference depending on where and what you are trading.
Sloppy move down PA down less sloppy then and moves up so far. Down PA structure is broken but is limping sideways, not giving me any confidences is a move up price just bounced up off my TL for second time see what happens. 3 trades so far solid wins. But feeling right now is I'm probably done. Yesterdays news caused caused a big drop on indexes and now the GOP chaos with a govt. shutdown looking likely is causing continued negativity, inspite of todays relatively good economic news.
