I traded for about 30 mins. this morning, hit a big move down just before 7am. So 1 an done. Will post later. Made some more changes to what I'm doing, which I'll get into over the weekend. For now errands to run.

Made it home safely - away a month and have had a lot of fun ( far too much food ). Time to get back to the real world I guess
I've promised myself that I won't open my Ninja until Monday AM so gotta be content watching the Olympics for a couple of more days.

I have missed chart watching and following along - home now & charts all set for a start tomorrow. I am going to Sim trade the 7 - 8 am session NZ Time ( which is 3-4 pm New York ).
Just opened my charts this morning to see the big slide and recovery back to previous open but gees there were a lot of bars printed from Rocky's start time at 8.30am New York. You would have needed super speed fingers & computer brain to even get into a trade. It slowed down for my preferred session time but still a pretty big volume of bars were painted.
Here is a snapshot of my set up for tomorrows session plus a view of what yesterday provided. There is also a snapshot summary of bars formed during the 2 session hours.
Rocky's ES was averaging 3.2 seconds per bar and MNQ was running hot at 2.65 seconds per bar. Far too fast for my old brain & fat fingers.
My late session was a fair bit more friendly with ES at almost 14 seconds per bar and the MNQ at just under 12 seconds.
Will be good to see what you guys are all doing - share / chat & have fun..

Welcome back Binnie, sounds like you had a great trip, plus you still have your legs. I also stayed out yesterday PA too fast for me plus would've needed much larger stops or would've gotten taken too quickly.(I hate large stops.) Still struggling with my comfort level. Tried something new(old for me)> I've actually traded this system
at times over the years.
Bollinger Bands, MACD and WPR. I traded MES 6 contracts instead of ES with good results.

Morning guys - gotta stop & take a breather. Far too volatile for my stop levels and making a couple of trigger happy entries that were not confirmed by a macd cross. Will have a cuppa tea while I put a few notes together for self. Gees its quick again - in & out in the blink of an eye & then watch as she jumps off in my direction. Perhaps slow it down by increasing bar size when market is running fast like this.
8 Trades for -25ticks in a short 18minutes.
I will post a summary shortly.

Hi Binnie, I am usually trading DAX and Nasdaq but If I hit my target (50ticks) in Dax in the morning I will not trade until the setup will be top class. I am wfh while trading and cannot focus on one screen all the time therefore trying to limit my daily screen time to 1h-2h either in the morning or lunch time (I am GMT +0).

Hope this makes sense.

Ps. Dax is a beast and can move very quickly and aggressively therefore I trade in and out.

Thats why i don't love trading the NQ much easier to get wiped out quickly.
There were more bars today than in the same hour yesterday - 320 bars at Average 11.25seconds. Too fast for this cowboy.
Trade 1 was an apprentice error - I punched Mkt button before Macd had confirmed a cross.
All other trades were according to my confirmations. Problem was being unable to get my desired entry which is usually 1 tick +/- the close of signal bar. Using the Mkt button meant I was chasing price & because it was moving so fast my fills were bloody awful.
Not every day will be like this but if I really have to trade at all perhaps I can consider LIMIT orders. A lot of trades could be missed when price takes off but there will still be good trades where price pulls back to the desired price level.
I did mote too that the good trades were taken out to the tick but the my stops tended to take a while to execute because of the speed of price meaning huge slippages on the stop losses.
Today I used TP 42 with Stops of 22. Breakeven +10 at 20 profit. Even using a higher Stoploss would not have helped today.
Call this a Learning The Market day

Maybe instead of chasing the macd up and down you should focus only on its divergences. remember that the macd is nothing more than the crossing of two averages but what makes it a good indicator are its divergences which, in my opinion, are amplified in the renko chart. if you notice in your chart there are 3 divergences all in profit

Getting comfortable with BB'S again. Same with RSI. Time based chart too.(it's been a long time). Very tradeable PA today. certainly no real strong trend after initial move up. Have a short trade that's closed will post in a minute, Rithmic connection has been a small pain in the ass today.

Problem I'm having isn't Rithmic it's Telmex doing some work nearby. Here's trade I was talking about also another short I'm closing early, I don't trust Telmex. So close it in case I wind up losing internet.

I'm going to keep trading 6 cts. of MES rest of the week, if my comfort level comes back I'll switch to 2 cts. of for a week. If all is still well then back to 4 cts., occasionally 5.
Since changing I need to look at different things with the indicators, especially the BB and RSI. WPR is pretty easy to read. But that's trading not matter how good you get you need to keep learning or in this relearning to keep your edge. IMO anyway.

Almost time - looks pretty quick again and solid sell off as well. Will they turn it around before the close??
@Monza - thx for comments. Divergence is definitely more easily identified with the Renko as you say. I have never been too involved with it before but your point is certainly noted.
Today was a better result +25 .
Tried getting in with Limit orders rather than Market. Far more user friendly I found even though a lot of trades were missed .
Still a bit shaky on the trigger but getting a little more confident. I left my ATM Strategy in play from yesterday so had 3 break even trades which happen very fast.
