How Ruff/Hard Was Forex Beginning? come and share to ENCOURAGE others.
Am motivated to make this thread due to what i read from a member who is at crossed roads and my reply.

Have been in Forex for over a decade, i mean up to 11 years without wining any single or week or month but just kept
loosing and in all this i had no job, some told me to quit but i refuse, Family, friends said a lot to me that could knock a man down but i refuse to quit because i knew
if i don't i will join the leagues of profitable/ traders someday and leave the rest of my life in Glory
There where days i was so down, i will cry myself to sleep but i will always find reason to encourage myself and continue, watch motivational videos and i began being consistently profitable since late last year and already in thousands of dollars in profit.
I was term as the black sheep of the Family,Church because i did not want a pensionable job, almost everyone neglected me, left me to myself and loneliness was my portion. i will cry to God for help every time, even as am writing tears is flowing from my eyes co's of the things i went through. i couldn't take job co's in my country you work from 8am - 4pm or 6pm so i knew i won't have enough screen time in which will help my trading or take it to the next level. sacrifice my life, my health and so many other things for this.
IT WAS HARD, IT WAS VERY HARD
So find out were you got it wrong, there is something your missing it could be Strategy or money management or psychology or discipline or all of them find it and when you will then you will be successful for life BUT TILL THEN DON'T QUIT, DON'T QUIT. DON'T QUIT

Lessons I've learned:
1. Develop your own strategy don't follow someone else's. The way you do this is by watching price action, simple. Add just ONE indicator and study price action.
2. Stop trading on demo accounts and open a very small account.
3. Never use multiple indicators unless they aren't correlated.
4. Money management!

Been trading forex since I was about 14 years old, I'm now in my early 30's. When I finally was old enough to work, I saved up money for about 3 years. 30K down the drain in a matter of weeks. Never gave up though. Learned from my mistakes.

I can say in general that most often traders start with interest and as players. They believe that this way they can have fun and possibly earn something. In any case, most often the attitude to it is not serious. So the first loss is not always some serious test. But this is a turning point, which can radically redirect the trader. That's why after that part of traders decide not to do it anymore, the other part of traders decide to try again in the same format, and a small third part begins to understand that in order to make money you need to understand all the mechanisms of the market and understand why you have failed. And this is the hardest part, because everyone wants to see a positive result, but not everyone wants to work...
