Is this even worth discussing, or is it just pie in the sky dream weaving with no basis in reality, whatsoever? What would it take to push $3,000 to upwards of $40 million trading Forex? Hmmmmm.

Were gonna find out in the not so distant future. In my 'coming soon' live stream YouTube channel, I'm going to attempt something that has never been approached by anyone in FX (as far as I know) publicly. I'm going to attempt to drive $3,000 to $40 million. But, that's not the real challenge. Oh, no. I've got something else up my sleeve. What's up my sleeve is that not only am I going to accept the challenge, but I'm going to attempt to get it done in 12.9 months. Let's called this "Mission Impossible."

Now, here is what will probably be the only chance for you to participate. Help me name the YouTube Channel by participating in the poll above.

So, the question is now on the table: Is it even remotely possible? What kind of math would it take to pull it off? What kind of approach to Trading would it take? Does such an approach to Trading even exist? All these questions and more can be discussed right here. But, first - go participate in the poll question and then visit this thread: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=979155

The YouTube channel will not be monetized. There is nothing for sale and never has been. Nothing to buy and never has been. And, it will be absolutely free to view whenever you want over the course of 12.9 months. More details on when this will get kicked off can be found here: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=979155

Enjoy the show!

1 million % ROI Challenge

This title aptly names the capital growth challenge that's the main challenge of retail fx trading. Most people can't see beyond 50% pa, it's impossible.

Hope you keep this going whatever the %

A quick calculation gives 108% pm roi for 13months to reach your target goal of $40 million.
Trade the value

It is possible but it would require geometric growth which realistically will be hard to stomach once the account seems large enough. This is because you're going to want to withdraw, lessen the lot size, etc.

It's possible man, to grow 3000 to 40 million is possible with around 22% per week gain every week for 48 weeks.
The hard part after that is actually getting a broker to let you withdraw the profits, lol have fun. I will follow your YouTube channel and see how you do.

Good luck.

Uh! Ouch! Tell me about it. It can be difficult to stomach. That was the main reason why I had to changed personal beliefs about "money" in general. Disconnecting the my emotions from money and viewing money as the servant not the master. So, as a consequence I no longer see or have money. However, I do have and see Capital. And, capital serves but one purpose and that is to be put to work. I still use money for personal reasons like coffee, fuel and groceries - stuff like that. But, in business, I only deal in putting capital to work. Its a completely different mindset.

It is simply inventory that needs to be moved in order to produce more inventory that needs to be moved in order to produce more inventory that needs to be moved in order to produce more inventory that needs to be moved.... you get the point. It is not money at that level anymore and I can detach.

Well, yeah.... no.

In order to grow, I would need to retain the account as active and use the same cost basis that I did from day one. So, this obviously means getting the account to the point where "the firm's" capital qualifies as ECP and then moving everything over to an intermediary that has the facility (PB relationship) to continue growing the account size. The hat trick is to do all that while still using MT4.

In the US here, I only have one real choice to maintain MT4 which runs my System. Outside the US, I have (by my estimate) about 2-3 decent choices with one of them being a real bank that's traded on a real stock exchange where I can still run MT4 and my System. Push come to shove and I have to ditch MT4, that would mean executing trades on a different platform while running the System in MT4 elsewhere.

Definitely not optimal, but I could shift my trading style to executing a different type of trade while still benefiting from the System's output in MT4 on a different platform than where the trades are being executed. So, I know and am prepared to move the account at least twice during the process. But, as the account grows, the leverage offered will be reduced. Nobody will be offering 50:1 at 2 - 4 billion notional. So, the type and kind of trades that I use will have to change to include those that pick up more pips, but will also be longer in duration to exit.

Does he have a specific capital balance goal in mind or is he just racking up pips. He's got some good numbers, no doubt. Don't see a target goal, however. Do you know?

Just notice that he's also using 400:1. That's pretty aggressive. Nice. Thank you for posting this. I don't think rate wise that I could catch up to him from here. However, I think absolute capital wise it will only be a matter of time before I surpass him. My win rate is simply going to be higher. But, my net pips per trade rate and leverage used (OMG) will be lower.

So, my growth is going to be slower and I plan to have to issues remaining with a Retail Bucket for the duration. In fact, I know for a fact that I'll have to shift gears in terms of intermediary at some point along the way and that will also come with a shift in leverage to the downside.

He's still got some great growth, though. The way he handles 400:1 is fairly impressive when he gets into a winning streak. Some of the losers are stiff, but he seems to eventually work things out. He started with only $2,000 as well. Very nice. We'd have some things to talk about, no doubt. Thanks again for the link.

Vote! Or, there will be no challenge.

Just kidding. I've been wanting to do this for quite a while now.

But, still - the Channel needs a righteous name. So VOTE!

Your vote in November won't mean squat, LOL! At least here, your vote will count for something.

Rule no1 in seeing myfxbook explorer:-
1. any stats from an offshore broker is unreliable/fake. Google virtual dealer plugin brokers for more info.

Do not believe any stats from any unregulated brokers. The stats can be easily manipulated. if you are going to do this, choose a big one like Oanda, FXCM etc.
