{quote} Thanks mate! I need to work out the best method to use still but I am not the worst trader in the world lol On that note actually, what 0 cross and 2 line cross indicators do people use at the moment? I am looking for one that is not the standard MT4 ones.

DC, can you elaborate with a possible example, for boundaries, the TMA is very good, I see you use bollingers, try the TMA,(unless you already have) have a dabble with the settings, hope it is of some use, D

Thanks, I need to learn how to use this, what are the best settings that you have found for it? Also I see it is very different to the bollingers, what constitutes a sell/buy with this?
Thanks in advance

Use the default and go from there, there are upper and lower boundaries, the idea is the price moves between them unless it breaks out, use volume and price, mix how you read the bollingers, overlay to see where your taking trades on the BB (bollinger bands), take some time and post a few charts, the other posters may have some input too, they could well be using them, my indicator which is similar is a payed one, differs slightly but revolves around the "boundaries" set up, let us know your thoughts and good luck, D
EDIT
DC, don't substitute anything yet until you fully understand it's workings, it does take a little time, also there is a thread dedicated to it's use, will have a delve for it and pass the link on.

Awaiting eurusd to rebound by some 100pips up.... as my controlling/quality check... The more it closes that gap till maybe the end of this week... the more confident would I be to place BUY orders on GOLD and SELL on WTI Crude... Note, not due to correlations or anything but due to controlling parameter would be sufficient at that point For OCTOBER... I would be UP for GOLD, SELL for WTI Crude... for more exact entries/outs... would have to wait for markets to correct a little, in my book... You can check my TS/TEs also... which...

Auricforecas, excellent contribution, thank you, brexit is not helping with EUR&GBP crosses, think the wild side could soon be coming out in them both, and not long to wait, I'm being cautious around them both, any trades will be brought back in ASAP, not leaving anything to run until after the event, agree with Gold and Oil totally, unless catastrophe occurs, seems they thrive, D

Panic Day may be a little closer now than it was yesterday.

Dow YM Dec contract, D1

The range from yesterday's high to today's low is ~1100 points--an interesting start for October.

Sjsfx, welcome to the thread, brokers is something I'm not that familiar with, I've been with the same one for a long time (they inherited my account from another broker who went bust and I was with them even longer). If your new to trading be on the lookout for a micro account with migration to a standard account, the micro lets you trade small lot sizes, smaller the better, the standard account will be there for trading larger lot sizes when your trading skills are at their peak, maybe some of the others could guide you better, wishing you the best success, D

As a Canadian, you might prefer a UK, Australian, or Canadian broker. Some Aussi brokers are popular. Look through several threads for leads.

My two favorites are TD Ameritrade and Interactive Brokers. How do you plan on trading? (futures, ETFs, CFDs, etc)

Think the Dow could be back up to 27000 hence the weakness in Gold that I'm seeing, the daily is hitting sloping resistance and carrying down to bounce off sloping support, which is it going to be, given we're mixed on information about the economy, this is rally season, if it's to be believed, seems the jets are still burning but for how long, worth keeping an eye on these levels, if it breaks, 28000 or 24000 could be assumed targets, D
