For Those Who Are Still Arguing About Funded Account VS Persona Account
here is a clear simple math that we can do based on the funded account company rules:
for the5er Prop Firm :
suppose that i have two accounts ( my personal & my 5er) using same strategy .
so, for the first month of the evaluation on the5er account , i have a target 7% of $20.000 (it's $1400 , that's %175 of my sign up fees) and %4 max drawdown (that's my own $875).
when get funded the target is %10 for %4 max drwdown . again that's %250 target of my personal account.

the table below is clearing the scaling plan :

As shown above .if I after five month decided to stop trading the two accounts , the result will be :
the5er account : about $61,000 in real cash
my personal : about $360,150 in real cash
even if i decided to continue trading using the same strategy , my profit on personal account would be about $900.000 for every $64,000 on my 5er account gain.

Of course every Prop firm has it's own mathematical illustration based on their rules, FTMO different from the5er ..... etc .

and again that's is just mathematical illustration.

lol. Here we go again. So you are going to turn $875 into $360K in 5 months. Your more insane than the rest of them. What everyone fails to realize is that SIMUTANEOUSLY while being paid your split, every 10% doubles your account. On your personal account, well 10% equals, well 10%. To top it off, you must leave your profits in there. If I pay $875 to the 5%ers and I make gains of 7,10,10,10 and 10% (approx 47% TOTAL) I now have a 1.28 million dollar asset capable of paying $12,800 per month with only a 2% gain. Along the way, I will have also earned $92K+ in profit splits You think the better route is to turn $875 into $360K in 5 months? I literally cannot believe some of the stuff I read on here.

But, it's not real. Everyone who tries to make this comparison used the DD allowed by the 5%ers vs. the full amount being used in a personal account. Are there no DD rules on your personal account? if not, the point is mute as that account will not exist for long. If it's let's say even 20%, then you must use $175 (875*.2) In other words, if we are comparing the DD only of the 5%ers, to make an accurate comparison we should only use the DD you're going to allow yourself on a personal account, correct?

No pipmaster, it's not correct coz the 4%DD allowed by the 5ers is actually your sign up fees and it's $875 if your drawdown goes below it they kick you out. so, that's 100% DD for you and you are required to make $1400 profits without losing $800 to keep you a live .
you actually risking $875 to get $1400 (that's 160% target not 7%).

again i am talking here about the Math and it's Real.

Once again, I am trading 20K to 21,400 without going above 4% DD. If you are trying to turn your $875 into $1400 on personal account, what is your DD limit? Please don't tell me it's the full $875. Once you complete that, you have $1,400. I now have an 80K account. Everyone tries this play on words, the DD allowed on the 5%ers is equal to 100% of your personal account, DD doesn't matter on the personal account. C'mon you guys are supposed to be traders. Math is a pretty important skill. Everyone posing this argument is stating it is easier to earn 600% on a personal account than it is to earn 47% on the 5%ers without violating 4% DD. Trade 0.25% per trade, you'll never hit the 4%. If you're DD goes above $875 on your personal account, they kick you out too. If you allow it to go to 50%, you need toearn a 100% return to get back to even.
Maybe a visual will help you folks. I'm not sure I can explain it any clearer.

I already cleared the scaling plan on a table above.
You cannot cancel the truth just because you don't like it . and after all we both prefer prop firm than personal account, so no visual argument here.

btw, i am trading my trial account on other prop firm.

I am a new sign up to The5rs. I noticed yesterday that the Spread on currencies jumped higher by 6.00pm to midnight (GMT+1). E.g GBPUSD 4.8 pips instead of 1.1 I used to see. Can someone help explain the reasons for the spread so wide?

You explained it in a very simple effective way. Dont sweat it. A lot of newbies have no clue about basic math. Some of these traders here are either from other firms trying to take clients from the5ers, OR they are newbies still trading demo account and never traded live account with their own money before. Im trading my account with 5ers and is going good. Its challenging but good opportunity. I have my personal account too ive been trading for years. Trade safe.

You get $20,000 to trade with, than 40,000, 80,000 and so on.
If you speak Spanish, you don't want to miss this one.

You are destroying this thread with your bitterness which seems to persist day & night. What is wrong Techanalyst? your trading not going so well or are you just miserable?
