Forex Trading Room December 21 - 25, 2020

Here's today's recording Forex Trading Room Session.

Inside Today’s Forex Trading Room Session we analyzed the charts for the upcoming week, we start with the higher time frames and then check the lower time frames to look for intraday opportunities.

Today we analyzed a few pairs according to the supply and demand method.

We analyzed them for all perspective of time frame, long, swing, and short term.

We discuss the influence of the low volume at the end of the year and how it affects the technical analysis decisions.

In the end, we have opened a sell position on GBPNZD.

Hello Everybody....sure do miss you. I still have my account and am trading it everyday. I do not know what else to do. It is wrong to trade recklessly, so I am using my time to trade better. I have until March 16th, 2021. I have attached my graph for those of you that are curious.

Have any of you been going to the Trading Room? How is Saul, Snir & Gil? I sure do miss them. I read this thread everyday and there have been some very interesting & compelling points made for trading with a firm such a 5%er's and for not trading with a firm. I took away something that stuck. I am from the USA and my only chance to trade leverage is through the 5%er's due to the regulations.

I am testing 10 EA's on my 4 monitor Rig & VPS to discover something that can pass. Trading with EA's seems to be better for me as you can see the disaster that I made with my graph.

I am visiting and active on many Forums posting, learning, trying and failing....but I will not give up. I have found some great utilities that I will share here eventually.

Warning: do not try those copy trading services on Telegram. Not many can trade profitably there. Telegram is a great resource to get Hacked EA's though.

It is my Birthday tomorrow and maybe something great will happen to me...You never Know. Meanwhile I am enjoying Life and my trading has become so present in my endeavors. I actually prayed about it.

What happens if you hit stopout level? Re EA's 99% of them seem to be useless, or only work with large drawdown, but what's wrong with the training 5% has, I've been going over the supply/demand series , it's very good.
You are absolutely right because what works for you surly should work for me. I will immediately quit my endeavor and stop trading and posting.

I really like The5ers growth program but the spreads shown in this video are unfortunately too high for many day trading techniques. A spread of over 10 points on a major pair like GU that's horrible. Too high spread is one of the most critical factors in day trading, it is often the key difference between losing or winning a trade. Commissions don't hinder your trade, they only reduce your overall profit but never your Win/Loss ratio. The spreads shown are definitely a major drawback for The5ers in comparison to other prop trading firms. Please rethink if your current broker is really the best choice for your business!

EURUSD at 0.2 pip is considered a good spread.
GBPUSD at 0.8 pip is pretty much common

Do note our spreads are variable. at certain times spread may increase above the market average.

Many thanks for your spread capture of all 28 pairs which was not fully visible in your video. This definitely looks much better for intraday trading and scalping. As you say, spreads are variable and there are several tools available for MT4 to measure min./max./avg. spread over the time of a day. It would be helpful to post such statistics in January after the FX market is back in normal to clarify all questions and uncertainty regarding The5ers spreads.

Here's today's recording Forex Trading Room Session.

Inside Today’s Forex Trading Room Session we analyzed the charts for the upcoming week, we start with the higher time frames and then check the lower time frames to look for intraday opportunities.

Since the next time, we will have the trading room is next Monday we discussed opportunities that might be relevant for the next few days.

We mentioned the fact that during the last few days of the year the volume in the market becomes very low and therefore technical analysis becomes less reliable.

We had 2 short term positions on GBPAUD and GBPJPY which both closed at breakeven.

Still here....

Between my VPS and my 4 monitor rig I test EA's....all the time....when one fails I have one on deck. This is what I do. I have 10 platforms going. My VPS has my live account with my prize EA and my 5%er's live account. I have two other demos going on in that VPS. TRADING MANUALLY IS A DISASTER FOR ME.

On my other Rig are the other 6 demo's. I wish 5%er's would let us have Demo's. But that's ok.

Something occurred to me. But I am not always right in my thinking. BUT...You could start an evaluation with an EA that you know will pass and build up the buffer of increased DD....and later bring in a more profitable EA that needs more than 4% drawdown (I have a few of those).

What do you think? I do not think that the 5%er's wants us to change methods though...in the middle of everything.
