I realy think that on EURUSD 1 h from 27 september to 3 october there are a sort of vibration (using an interesting word.....)
please can tell me what are angles of segmente AB....BC and CD?
I think whatever your scale is, when these angles appear, all structure of future near trend is determined.
I am trying also on 5 min and I have found same result

this is my excell formula to calculate pips/bars for a specific angle...for example if I have 30° formula give me 0.577
so if I know future bars will be 54, 54x0.577=31.158
from low I add 31.158 pips
are there some of you make same math?

sometimes I have found (as now for eurusd1 H) that ratio of geometric structure is 1.4142 (diagonal square)
so I multiply vesica for 1.4142...hypotenuse for 1.4142..etc..etc for future timing point
then at a certain point the game stops ... it's obvious ... it can't go on forever
example on eurusd 5 min 23 october (same structure..different angles)
AB and BC give future points at D...E...E'

you can see price does a sort of tick-tack from angle to another
time is determined by FIRST AB and CD swings

I am at work and it is my lunch time. So I just had the chance to check the forum.

The formula is not something i discovered. I heard it from someone on this Forum.

First you are supposed to determine last significant BOTTOM or TOP; then apply this formula:

((Square Root of that BOTTOM) + 1) x ((Square Root of that BOTTOM) + 1) = First Resistence
((Square Root of that BOTTOM) + 2) x ((Square Root of that BOTTOM) + 2) = Second Resistence

and it goes on like that


((Square Root of that TOP) - 1) x ((Square Root of that TOP) - 1) = First Support
((Square Root of that TOP) - 2) x ((Square Root of that TOP) - 2) = Second Support

and it goes on like that

It always gives better results when LAST valid BOTTOM or TOP is chosen as basis.

My personal opinion is that It cant be the ONLY Factor of a Strategy. Maybe it can offer good results when its combined with A-B-C strategy on those Sup or Res Levels.

I have found out about 35 years ago you can make things happen in your life by the power of thought. Somehow these thoughts and desires will manifest, but only if you truly want them. Even today for the first few hours after I wake Up I listen to Audio's of Self-Help, Changing yourself, Self Improvement, you get the idea. At my age of 69, I realize I do not have one day to waste as a lifetime goes by so fast.

One question that bothers me regarding the Gann method as repackaged by Jenkins, Beck and all the other practitioners who have developed systems, and methods using Gann as the basis, seldom is Forex even mentioned or discussed.

In fact, there are many fine posts in this thread with charts and explanations that are appreciated and considered, and the charts show very interesting areas of entries etc. But seldom is a live trade shown or the result of the live trade posted so all can see the value of the posters reasoning.

Is it the fact Forex with its 5 Trillion Dollar Daily volume versus Exchange traded volume only 25% of that ...that forex has too many unknowns that can nullify even the best of the best technical setups? Serious question and would appreciate how some of you view this question?

one thing I have come to appreciate is just because a chart looks the same in Forex as a Stock or Futures Chart, they trade vastly different from one another. News is nearly a daily mover for Forex either directly or correlated with another currency whereas a Stock like Boeing or Caterpillar or a Commodity like Sugar or Wheat do not have the seemingly daily news to contend with....

Anyway, writing this as as I wait for the reaction, and the reaction to the reaction, of two Rate Announcements and other Red news to filter out direction today....reply’s are welcome and appreciated.

Swede, I believe these procedures work fine but in markets that are not manipulated by Sentiment, or at least currencies not manipulated much by the MM. That being said, it's not a pair of stretch pants with a elastic waist band that one size fits all, no it's not. To me, my take is choose Stock before Forex if you want to make money, stock will make you just as wealthy.

Good question.

forex is unknown ... in my country there are people who trade for drawings, i'm learning them .. u can be sure they don't fail...
All knowledge can be mixed or brought together to succeed in a business.

I should clarify...I’m mot interested in the least how much money you make Marcieny, I would like to see others completed trades based on entry and why, then exit and why based on Gann....showing charts mean little, showing trades based on the charts is a learning tool imho......Best to you Marcieny
