Request for feedback on my trading results

Hello all,

I need your feedback please. Any feedback (Positive, Negative, etc.) is welcome. Below are my simulated forward discretionary manually day trades. I trade 1 contract Crude Oil market from 7am to 11am central.

The Trading Method 1 is mixture of reversals and breakout
The Trading Method 2 is only breakout.

My strategy is mostly breakout and reversal intraday 3 minute chart.

I am considering going live cash soon.

My concerns how I trade:

1. My losses are bigger than wins.

Anyone interesting in letting me know if I have an edge? I believe I do.

My concern is I trade intraday and all my trades have stop losses bigger than my profit target. Call it scalping or whatever, it is showing to make money over 450 trades.

The # reason why most traders fail is proper risk management until you learn that you will never be successful, that's the honest truth.

Few things you need to ask yourself.

1: Why did I take the trade? ( it broke out, why did it break out?)
2: What is my risk to reward ratio?
3: why did I close my winning trade so soon?
4: why did I let my loser run so long?

Ask yourself those questions, One thing to note too is what's going in the market (fundamental), if you are trading crude you have to look at what's going on in the news.
are there positive talks about reducing the surplus of oil which would cause oil to go up or the news is talking about people pumping more crude which would cause oil to go down. If you understand this it may allow you to have your winning trades run longer because you will have more confidence.

AND THE BIGGEST OF THEM ALL, you have not yet learned how to accept your risk hence why your loser is bigger than you winners.
Traders that don't know how to accept their risk tend to hold their losing trades hoping it will turn, they sometimes move their stop loss thinking that's ok.

in closing... KILL your losers without prejudice and keep your winners running... There is a big difference in a trading demo and a live account, you will be an emotional reck if you don't have proper risk management and understand that this is a business and should be treated as such.

I have a question for you. Your opinion please.

1. If a trader enter a trade with a predefined Stop loss (risk) and reward (profit target), should the trade continue to assess the risk and reward while the trade is on. In other words, should the continuation of risk and reward be done once in the trade?

What I am doing is waiting for my stop loss to hit, regardless of the selling and buying pressures that occur in the market while the trade is on. In others words, I am NOT adjusting my stop loss or profit target regardless of what is happening in the market. Its the old respect your stop loss no matter what and do not move it.

I am myself trading using only volume (VSA, Wyckoff) and there are tons of trades I jump out of before I even hit my 1% stoploss. I think one should be able to milk out the winners and ditch the loser quickly, sometimes even before SL is hit if market conditions changed or you just misread the market.
