{image}{image} {quote} My turn to confuse everybody---you asked to keep it going so here goes. I have spoken to you both re my interpretation of NIH's work, and tried to explain his entries and exits--for your education the cross of the RSI over the short MA. If all those who are interested in Nih's method of trading it is all written in his Trading Journal, but of course there will be some who want a quick answer---sorry there isn't one. If you don't understand what I have shown, then learn about Fractals--what are they, and how can you use them....

Sorry for my late reply Ben, been to my Footie session and just got back, must say great charts and your views clearly stated, plus good advice to guys that want to get an incite on NIH98 ways
Good stuff, keep it coming mate and I am sure we can get this thread going again

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the reply, can I ask a dumb question as you know I am as useless as Ti$%^&s on a bull, where or how do you know where to start the Murrey Maths template---Like where is the starting point as there is no reference in your post as to what month, week, or day of the year it is referencing on your chart.

Sure I can see that NIH's 5th fractal is at an extreme level so anyone hanging on here for more upside has no clue what to do.

Of course M.M. at 7/8ths shows something, but in relation to what past/present starting point---see I told U I was a [email protected]$b [email protected]#$%d

[quote=OAPDave;12690170]{quote} Ben you have asked a tough question to answer, Parisboy, MasterMind and myself have had many a long conversation about it, Murrey starts his from a date early in October something to do with the 1st frost, a bit mumbo jumbo, has is birthday in early October and that's when he made his subscriptions tie into for the software licence, some of our long discussion are on Masterminds Threads, etc etc

Dave thanks for the reply, I did not mean to make life difficult asking you to try and explain it, as you said a bit Mumbo Jumbo, so lets drop it before others try and explain it.

As I have drawn relevant lines on my explanation of NIH's RSI an MA's, with vertical cross references, hopefully others can understand what NIH was showing us. Follow the dam Salmon, and the RSI's--how simple is it.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

My addition of channels to his work, is only for my ability to see into the future, how many times have I heard the future is a repeat of the past, maybe that's all B.S. but I can put up charts where the future is predictable--(WITHIN LIMITS MATE)---THE PROBLEM IS CAN IT BE TRUSTED. I will leave you to work that out for yourself.

When I first came across NIH's forum, it made a connection with me, so I subscribed and the rest is history.

I have also helped kelly, but she never sent me my training fee, so that was a dismal failure, ah well can't win em all eh.

I can make NIH98 system work, but everyone has a way of deciding what a chart will do in the future. --some are right, some are wrong, and yep, some haven't got a clue.

Hi Dave & Ben,

I guess Nih98 has given us so many indicators, maybe it's up to individual trader to decide which ones to put on our charts that "meet the eyes", since all roads lead to Rome?

Chart below GBP/USD, as you can see I also put on 1 of the indicators from Swingman (smSmallwick_Avgslopelog, introduced by Nih), which helped me visually. Truth be told, I don't really trade with Nih98's method anymore, although I pull out the template occasionally to check on smaller TF. I'm convinced his method works, just that due to changes in my own environment, I have to adapt.

More green pips to both of you! Hope to continue to see your charts

Good post and well said, FF is full of good and not so good methods and indicators, the decision we have to make, do we use them, some of them, or non of them, after all it's our own money that we put at risk when we trade, me like you, need my eyes to see it, it not it's not there. If my account then grows great if not I need a new pair of glasses
There is NO HOLY GRAIL

I thought it might have been a good idea to try to get some participation again with this thread , I was obviously mistaken, other than yourselves just one reply and guess what , yes for an indicator, So I guess like that other nice guy Swingman and his threads, guys just want to download and collect indicators then never to show any results as and if they do what they say on the tin.
So I am going to take the hint and call it a day and plod along in my own way.
Thanks for your participation and I wish you well with the on going battle to harvest those green pips
Dave
p.s
I have deleted my posts out of sheer frustration

Hi Dave,
People come here for different reasons. Some want to learn, some looking for holy grail, some just to create troubles, some afraid to post because they may receive harsh words ... etc etc etc. With the OP gone, it will be hard for this thread to continue, although I have seen a thread resurrected when the OP "suddenly" reappeared, lol.

To me, as long as no throlls, I'm happy. Just trying to share the limited knowledge I've acquired from Nih98 (and Ben, of course). That's it. Forex is a long journey, I'm still at baby steps but I shall continue on.

Yes, I enjoy reading these posts. I don't trade this way but am certainly interested in following along.

I can certainly appreciate your frustration at the nay sayers and trolls but these unfortunates crop up in every thread and irritate anyone with genuine interest.

Sorry you deleted posts but keep in good spirits.

One more post on GBP/USD - TP hit, 34 pips. I only look for sell trades for GBP/USD, so no trade for me when the MA is blue (personal preference, not due to the system). This will be my last post here, just to show that Nih's system works. Of course it has to be combined with proper lot size, money management, patience, etc etc.

In your RSI parameters, make sure you uncheck "fixed minimum" and "fixed maximum" setting.

Hi Paresh,

I can't read your chart symbol clearly, I vaguely see it is Gold? Here is my Gold weekly chart, no problem with my RSI. The only other setting I can think of, is make sure under visualization tab, you select "all timeframes". If it still fail, then perhaps reload all the indicators, rename the template. Good luck.
