Which Money and Risk Management Strategies do you know?

Hey guy´s i would like to learn new ways to Manage my risk. So when you know something besides risk every trade 2% it would be great when you share

For example that you Risk 1% of your Balance and after a win you Risk this 1% and the profit of the last trade. With this you get the most of your consecutive winners but the risk of your equity is always 1%.

This will not really work for strategies with a low risk reward.

A second example could be that you measure your max consecutive loosers. then you calculate 75% for example of this. Well when you now we say your max looser are 15 we calculate 75% of this is 11,25 so we take 12. These numbers are only examples. You can multiply your max loosers with 1,4 or so to get a puffer.

So when you get in the range of 12 loosers in a row you double your risk from 1% to 2% because you know that in some time you should hit a winner.

For me the best way to make profit is a good money management . I trade a strategy with a RR of 1/6. I dont analyse much and make around 20-50% a year.

I search for ways to make my trading more straight and i think the best way is to optimize the money and risk management. Entrys and exits are not really that important for me.

You could use ATR. A common factor would be 20 and 2 x ATR20 was the measure used by the turtle Traders as a stop-loss on their trend-following trades. That was using a daily chart but ATR works for candles/bars of any length. You can also use a different factor to 20 and a different multiple to 2 or no multiple. But this indicator relates your position to the volatility of the instrument you're trading, so as this changes, so too does ATR.

Yes this is a good method well known and effective. But i haven´t tried it really. I will backtest this thanks!

Hey i have had a idea yesterday. Its not new i know

When we have a strategy with a winrate of around 80% we should have 20-25 max winner in a row.

When we put all profits of the last trades on the risk. Lets say we use a risk of 2% of our capital and everytime we win we put the profit and the 2% Risk in our next trade. I would say we reset after 10 trades so when we have 10 winners in a row we reset the risk.

So when we get a winning series of 10 trades we make more profit and when we lose we only lose the 2% of our account.

What do you guys think. I hope i u understand what i mean

I cannot program so i cant backtest the idea over a long series of trades.
