Jason (or anyone else),

Is there a reason why USDReal09 doesn't carry all 28 of the major crosses? My MT4 with my live account only shows 18 of the 28 major crosses:
AUDJPY
AUDNZD
AUDUSD
EURAUD
EURCAD
EURCHF
EURGBP
EURJPY
EURNZD
EURUSD
GBPCHF
GBPJPY
GBPUSD
NZDJPY
NZDUSD
USDCAD
USDCHF
USDJPY


I don't have the following 10 major crosses:
AUDCAD
GBPAUD
CADJPY
GBPCAD
NZDCAD
GBPNZD
NZDCHF
CADCHF
AUDCHF
CHFJPY


AM I missing something (ie., a configuration in MT4), or does FXCM just not offer them?

While I cannot comment on specific introducing brokers, if you want to use the services or a particular company with FXCM, you should reach out to them to let them know of your interest. That may encourage them to apply to become an introducing broker for FXCM. If they are successful in their application, they will let you know.

Hi Nondisclosure,

Do you have a Mini account? Note that Mini accounts offer DD execution on 18 currency pairs.

Standard accounts offer NDD execution on 39 currency pairs. If you have a Standard account, then try Magix's suggestion to view all the currency pairs available to you.

Hi Jason.

I probably have a mini account (min lot is 0.01, lot size is still 100000). How can I tell? I checked myfxcm and don't have anything that designates in any way.

What is the difference in account size between standard and mini account

I deposited money via myfxcm then received email saying the money will be available in trading account within 1-2 hours. But after 24 hours, the money still not in my trading account, I talked to the online support it replied me it would take 2-3 business days. WTF？ If it should take 2-3 business days, why FXCM said 1-2 hours in email. FXCM service like a joke to me.

Do you pay a commission on your forex trades?

  1. Standard FXCM accounts trade on low spreads with commissions.
  2. By contrast, Mini accounts trade on all inclusive spreads with no commissions.

All FXCM accounts allow you to trade micro lots (AKA 0.01 lot on MT4) so you can risk as little as 10 cents per pip.

I apologize for any confusion. FXCM provides traders with multiple deposit and withdrawal options. With some methods, funds may appear in your account immediately while others may take a few business days. Your forum profile mentions you live in Australia. Our FAQ page has details on your available deposit options and time frames.

Commissions and spreads.

Why isn't there a straight forward answer to this? Why can't I just log into myFXCM and it tell me which I have? Why the big mystery? Seems shady.

My youngest boy joined the Canadian Armed Forces (Canuck Army), and the oldest boy is going to make me a Grampa in September.

I just hit 43 this year.
Glad I still have a couple years of youth, even though I have a lot less of my natural colored hair than do grey.
(On my head anyways, still have plenty of non-greys covering my back and crack of my ass)

Happy belated bday too! You've still got a couple more to go to catch me (well, ok; 4).
