Folks,
I had earlier seen that the NZ consumer confidence news item was slated for 9 am ET today(sep 26 Tues). But i now see on FF homepage that it has been moved to tomorrow. I actually went and traded the news spike and got a couple pips, so i dont know if the news actually already happened.

Anyone know what happened?

yeah if you click "read" on the calendar page you will see we made a note about this. the date was in error, it is actually released tomorrow.

we just started covering NZD and CHF last month so we are still making a few mistakes with these particular currencies. this NZD consumer confidence is a quarterly report and it was the first time we reported it on the calendar. sorry for the error, we will have everything ironed out in a few more weeks for sure.
Relax and be happy.

When a new release number comes out, such as the u.s confidence or the nzd/usd confidence, how soon is forexfactory news calendar section actually updated to reflect the new number that comes out?

Thanks,

hilton

ok we were right indeed. it came out at 9am as scheduled.

we got confused because we didnt see the release come over the wires, but it looks like everyone just forgot about this report in the midst of the USD action.

with the NZD mistakes we made in the past few days we have begun to doubt ourselves, but now with this we are getting our confidence back

here is the report, in case you care...
