Hey guys, this week has been an excellent learning week for me, big thanks to all the moderators, posters and chart displays.
Hope to get more into the swing of things next week, was doing mostly reading and following chart setups.
My liking goes to the 5 minute setups on E/U, for me the lowest spread.

Have a great weekend all

One final post before the weekend.

This system is a DIAMOND.

I discovered this only on wednesday. I have come out of my first three days + 84.7 pips profit - not a fortune, but in the circumstances highly significant. This includes some stupid mistakes and denseness on my part and losses. Every other trading system I have used has taken months of study and hair tugging. This is a total Jewel.

Feb and Fx are the Mother Teresas of the trading world - if you know what I mean!

thanks...

You'll fall flat in your butt sometimes. Be prepared. The trick is to stand up, lick your wounds and keep going. Before your know it you'll be in profitland.

Build your equity day by day. Stay focus on your everyday trades. In time, you'll see consistency, which is the real goal of this business. In my particular case, it feels so good when I see people like Dare, Fx, Moneda etc, opening the doors of profitland.

If they can do it, I believe you can...just be aware of the "side effects" LOL.

Well, it's Friday. I had a wonderful week. Now is 1:58 PM EST This is my first day as a cook in a long time....will do something nice for the family...but, to get inspiration, I have parked somewhere a bottle of Mondavi screaming to be open, one of my favorites..

So to all of you I wish a happy and prosperu$ life and excellent weekend.

au petit salut!!

CYA
Peace

Hi All,

Here are my trades for today.

Market pushed me around a bit today, but my objective was to stick with it come what may.

All comments and questions welcome. Bad mistake trade 3 closed way to early think I was getting tired.

Thanks Fx for all the commentary this week, I sincerely appreciate all the advice, suggestions and comments you have given. I have managed with a few hiccups to start thinking and playing runners this week because of you and have made some pips.

Have a good weekend everyone and see you all Monday.

Market is not f b at all.. market cannot trend all the time.. this is where this system fails.. market trend 30-40% of the time and 60% of the time it is in ranging mood. so ppl swear at market when they range..

Paul,

in your sixth trade, you exited almost perfectly, with that spike that turned down quickly. What was your rationale to get out, since that was a HH and the movement therefore was not exhausted?

Thanks

Excuse me brother but I have to reply here.

1) What system are you talking about??

2)Who told you we're looking to ride a "trend"?

3)Where do you learn about market statistics?

4)Have you tried this "system" long enough to put a seal of "failure" already?

Need to read and get informed before talking out of your ass, ...no offense intended just relying on facts you provided.

Thanks
Peace

I think this isn't necessarily a trending system. In fact, it's based purely on the only thing that matters - support and resistance. The fact that markets don't trend all the time doesn't matter one bit, because even if you are range bound - you are going between S/R levels is all.

Take feb's advice, reread this whole forum, it's a gem.

Chris

I am sorry if my swearing got in the way between you and the market, i did not know you two were so close
get a grip dude..
and I hope you didn't hurt yourself coming up with that market analysis allstar..
I don't need to say much more, feb already took care of your dumbass post..
the only thing I say is this..
if this """system""" is a faliure.. then
why after taking 6 shots at the rangy and most decievies PA time, I managed to survived them all at BE except one 9 piper loss?

no need to reply.. just read the thread dully..

+21 Pips.

There are two "methods" on this thread - holding for runners or just taking 20 + 1 for costs off the table = +21 when you can get it.

I personally am trying to switch from +21 to the runner method, but Friday I was about BE for the day at that stage and I "wanted" pips = yes fear and greed.

Hope that helps.

System does not fail, it is the trader who is not yet at the correct level to trade proeprly, who is still learning, who still needs to put in more screen time, which will result in results less good than an experienced trader - nobody fails IMHO.

Guys weekends are study time for me.. i sit back and refelect on everyting.. going over my trades and my decision making and all the why's..
in the persuasion of constant improvements, I lately can not come up with any add on's to this style of trading or my own trading arsenal, it concludes to just do what you been doing, only to do it bette and keep the standard above par and possibly higer..
staying intact and focus.. so in order to do so..
I am doing a recap for myself to posses a supreme clearity in my head in the heat of battle.. so I can excute with ease, calmness and confidence..
so I share it with you guys aswell, you might find it useful.. its nothing new.. but it takes a effort in total to do it sucessfully..

keeping in mind that 123.. and mini 123 (fcr).. and expectancy is the back bone of our trading style for enteries and exits..(I asume we all do.. spreading the load wisely and losing being part of our agenda.. and not giving rats ass about low hit ratio.)
ok with that aside.. in the constant changing enviroment with our style of constant shot taking of the market to catch runners, one needs to know the three w's..
what your in for.. what can possibly happen.. and.. what can you do about it..

possibilities are..
1) fakeout..
2) semi fakeout..
3) semi profit..
4) possible runner..
5) runner..

what could happen in each scenario..
1) hard sl could be hit..
2) leave money on the table..
3) pass 20 pips mark profit..
4) about 30-40 pips profit mark..
5) over 50 pips profit mark..

what to do, to benefit the most..
1) play #2 to survive with less damage..
2) play #1 to preserve lost pips..
3) keep playing #1
4) keep playing #1 and watch price reaction to major sup/res
5) same..

This seems simple in words but both you and I know that its extremely hard.. its easy to get side track and make foolish decisions
we all have done those absurd decisions and we will keep doing it time to time (human nature) but its not a impossibility to control it and do it as less as possible..
so some guideness and clearity at our disposal could go a long way..

I hope it helps..
see you all monday before london open..
