Close your metatrader.
Save or copy/paste the Vegas Currency Daily indicator into the following folder: Program Files/Metatrader 4/experts/indicators. Reopen metatrader. Under the View menu, select Navigator. If you scroll down the Navigator window and open "Custom Indicators" you should see Vegas Currency Daily. Double click the indicator or click and drag it onto your chart.

I am still kind of unsure about the systematic and its profitability.

I read through this thread before Christmas, and having a memory like a goldfish, I have just finished reading back through it to make sure I understood everything and missed nothing. Knowing I would forget things even after the second time I made a "very" brief summary of points that were key and of interest to me. I have attached for people to use if they so wish.

Please note that this is just "my summary", it's more of a cheatsheet, it is not a "Fozzy System summary" so it does not capture everything. You really need to read the whole thread to get a true appreciation of the system and its variations. A lot of generous people have provided a lot of valuable information so you should take the time to take it all in. All this summary will do is guide you to key points (I never included links, just post numbers as the doc would have blown out in size), and what I consider to be relevant maybe different to the next person. Hopefully I haven't misquoted anyone and everything is in order, apologies in advance for any errors you may find.

I have a few questions to follow but I will save that for a separate post. Thanks to everyone for sharing so much great info!

Being new to this site and MT4 I am still trying to come up to speed with a whole number of things, one of them being the Daily Vegas Risk models/fib levels. With most successful traders of the Fozzy method using the Vegas models for TP's I tried to dig up some info or a summary on them in one of the many Vegas threads but without much luck to date. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I saw BeachBum provided the fib levels for each model in his post (#1319) plus both he and willf provided Vegas custom indicator files but what I haven't been able to figure out is how to modify these so that I can get say Risk Model 1 and 3 on the same chart? The models I have loaded just have the 3 fib levels. I know nothing about programming but did note that within the code there appears to be all the risk models but don't know how to go about mixing up and combining the different risk models to see which ones fit which pairs best? Should this be easy to do....can someone please help me out on this.

In Vegas Wealth Builder.doc have a look at pages 5-9. To get 2 different models on a chart, just apply/overlay the indicator twice, selecting say models 1 for one of them and model 2 for the other, so that you get a combination of models 1 and 2 on the chart (as described on page 6 of the document). I think there may be a modified Vegas Daily Indicator around that includes a 39 fib level rather than the original that has 89 as the lowest level. To check which one you have just calculate 39 or 89pips above/below the 28ema on your chart.

Hey guys! Weekend is almost there! Can someone tell me how many pairs can be followed on FXDD MT4? I was hoping to follow 16 but can only see 14 among which 2 that I am not interested in. Do you know of any way to get more pairs on this platform? What about NZD pairs?

I watch 19 pairs.

Open the "Market Watch" window in MT4 and right click on it. Select the option "Show All".

Guys, want to share following setup with you. What do you think??

In the weekend I went through 1 year of data for 2 pairs using F12 to step through bar-by-bar and calling the shot at each signal. I made several observations:
1. When the SOLARWIND indicator is green, declining and approaching 0, we usually see a stalling uptrend.
2. Whenever SOLARWIND switches color (so first red bar or first green bar) we usually see a solid entry signal
3. Whenever SOLARWIND is "rather high" number the slope is not so relevant, color is...
4. FX SNIPER T3-CCI(8) is a good early indicator.

I have found following setup to be very solid.
a) price has been in strong trend, Tunnel>50EMA>100EMA>200EMA (key S/R lines)
b) price has recently retraced to one of the key S/R lines
c) For a buy: Solarwind indicator produces first green bar and FX Sniper T3-CCI(8) starts to head north.

Usually the Willf signal follows one or two days after.

I have included the picture below to illustrate.

Doesn't the Solar Wind repaint itself when a new bar opens?

It always looks good backtesting but forward testing the current bar can change depending on the next bar.

Uhm, I was not aware of this. I had a quick look at the code and am not 100% sure of repainting. O well, I may just try this for a couple of weeks to see how much false signals I get.

I think solar wind can be a problem IF you use it as a standalone but should be fine with other confirmations
Did you ever notice that if you change the price chart to a "line" instead of a candlestick it looks exactly like the 8RSI.... Draw a 8ma and you have fozzy indicator as price.

I find that most indicators just regurgitate price in a different way. Some traders seem to feel that indicators are predicting where to trade. They are really just following price and making price look a little different.
