I'm working on a lite, community edition and I'm looking for a small group of testers to do forward testing for me, just on demo until it is fully tested and proven to work. I only have 3 slots on my VPS and so more testers would be appreciated, but I don't want to just give this away until it has been polished. Anyone interested?

I have VPS and 2 slot empty. Let me know if I can contribute in this. Thanks

You have to adjust with the market flow. If it is an indicator based strategy, obviously it won't work in different market. Suppose your strategy is for ranging market, it won't work for trending market. You have to modify your strategy. That's the reason short term success is not a real success.

Not too shabby of a performance at all!
I didn't expect it to go so well, with it being a largely unpolished piece.

It's running on AUDJPY, EURCHF and EURUSD just for kicks.

It's clear to me that having EURCHF and EURUSD in the mix at the same time does not help with diversification at all, which was exactly why I put them together - just to see where it goes.

I'll need some help forward testing different pairs to find the best ones to put together in a basket.

So far the JPY pairs seem to be pretty decent.

I have a crazy idea of going with triangular triplets - GBPAUD, GBPJPY, AUDJPY - your usual triangular arbitrage pairs, minus the triangular arbitrage, just to see how it performs.

No math behind it, just test and learn..

Thanks for the interest guys..

Give me some time - trying to polish this up a little bit and give it to a few testers.

Dear friend, you might want to replace your caps lock button.

Didn't realize there was a TE rulebook. My apologies for flouting TE rules for using a widely available TE option! Terribly sorry.

Thank you for your constructive feedback. It really helps us to grow as a community and build successful systems together. Keep it up my brother!

I am interested in testing, but not sure what the requirements are. Does this have to be performed on VPS or can it be a normal account?
What pairs and if there are spread and requirements, etc?

Thanks

JacolineFIS is right, I am indeed rather busy with my day job and other commitments in life.

With my free time I spend it almost exclusively on creating potentially profitable solutions.
If you have an idea that you think will work, let me know - I'll show you why it wouldn't work over the long term with a simple proof of concept.

I have narrowed down my focus on 2 algorithms of late, with the same principle detailed at the beginning of this thread, which is to win in range and in trend.

If you can give us a bit of info of what are you talking about, then we can all brainstorm on the potential failures mode.
If nobody can found any failure mode than you have the holy grail.
What about my idea?
Regards

Here's a thought experiment..
Assume you have a powerful risk management system with a robust hedging mechanism (any form of hedging - same currency/correlated/un-correlated etc).
Could that be an edge? Who says your edge has to be how you enter? What if risk management is an edge?

Yes I agree it can be an edge but I'm a bit on the worried side on systems based solely on the money management rater than also on the entries.
Usually system like that can be profitable but they require huge capital not even taking in account the risk from brokers as well.
Time & testing will proof how good is your idea.
Let's wait and see.

PS: I recently discovered a trick that can make hedging as cost effective like non hedging so I don't see any problem using hedging as well.

Thanks

I'm not suggesting solely risk/MM as a strategy - that would be silly.
Couple a decent entry criteria with that - boom! We got us a good algorithm.
