Hello Everyone,

I joined this forum today..I am currently trading with a demo account. However I am in -ve...I guess I know about the common indicators being used in market.However I am trying to find out of good strategies that work on hourly or 5 min. chart. I try to trade only USD based currency pairs.


Can you please suggest me some good and tested stratagies that work. Also, it would be great if you can tell me their limitations also.

Hi Rahul,
Welcome to FF.
I would suggest you reading of Vegas files at first and then James16 thread to understand price action/market patterns.Try to be patient at first till you feel you have learnt something.Thee is no use wasting capital even on demo prior to learning.

Go to forex forums and there you will find niche forums in which there is Vegas Wealth Builder.Just click on it and start reading vegas tunnel method 1h or 4h.

There is a good book named Trading in the zone.You should be able to get it on ebay I suppose.
There are different strategies like Moving average cross over, news trading based on fundamental analysis, strategies based on indicators like MACD,CCI,Momentum,ADX etc.
Here in FF you will find good thread on price action:james16 chart thread.
There is Sidus System,Kolachi Method of trading,there are different threads about automatic use of Expert advisors.
Be patient ans read enough material so that u can decide which suits your psyche.
