Today 5 Dec 2017 I tried to withdraw my profits from Pepperstone but they refused to transfer my profits to my credit card from which I made my deposits initially. Do you guys have any idea that other brokers do the same or have the same rule. I am so disappointed, after so much hard time, I just started to make some profits, and here they refuse to send them to my credit card. They also refused to transfer my money to other FX broker too. They say I should withdrawal my profits through my bank account for which I should pay commission and the bank charges. Any suggestion what I should I do?

If you have just started making money then I would say it's a good time to find this out.

You have to play by their rules and if you don't like them, find a broker with different rules.

All the best.

Actually it's absolutely normal among all good brokers. Withdrawal by credit card can be done up to the sum you deposited earlier, because it's payback.

Read terms and conditions. Only original deposit can be sent back to the credit card if you used it for funding. Any excess (profits) are sent via wire transfer.

Your thread title is misleading. I suggest you delete your thread because it's misleading and sort this issue out with Pepperstone directly.

I guess pepperstone is the only broker who set such illogic rule. I just had some chat with ICMarket support team and they said that they don't have any restriction on withdrawing profits. They said that clients can withdraw their profits through their credit cards from which they had make their deposits.

IC Markets also allows withdrawal by credit card up to sum of all deposits made by this card. Just ask them via email, be specific.

Isn't it prohibited by their AML policies to process withdrawals to cards? And why don't you try to withdraw on Skrill or bank accounts, its much more convenient option

I should have to pay around $30 for every profit withdrawal (based on amount I withdraw) if I use Bank accounts. Maybe I should use my Bank accounts, I have no other choice.

I'm pretty sure most brokers have this rule. The withdrawal is processed as a refund and therefore can only be up to the amount deposited. Just withdraw your funds to your bank account. It'll take a few more days but could be worse! You could be dealing with one of those scammy brokers.

Cheers,
Piplife

Man, what are you complaining about? THERE IS ALWAYS CHOICE:

1. You can relocate to Australia and you will pay 0 dollars for withdraws (assuming you use Australian Pepperstone or if not to the country of origin)

2. You can use other, less expensive method of withdrawal

3. You can change broker

But you choose that specific broker for that specific location for a reason, right? So maybe that 30 bucks fee is not that bad after all if it is balanced by other, more significant pros???

FINALLY, YOU MAKE SHIT ON THIS BROKER, WHEREAS THEIR PAGE SAYS CLEARLY:

This is so basic thing, the very first thing to check: how to take money back when I make profit, yet you make whole Millennia-style problem-thread, because somebody did not live to your imaginary expectations.

Hey shabirsaleem,
Have you received any explanation from the broker why they are refusing to send money back to your credit card?

Hi all,

I have found Pepperstone to be excellent brokers over a number of years.

I do have a withdrawal issue at the moment, but it is related to a reserve bank policy here in South Africa that I wasn't aware of. If I funded via my card our local regulations to not allow the funds to be returned via a wire transfer. Our banks are obligated send the money back. The reserve bank is saying that I should have wired it to the broker and that I should not have funded it via my card. The irony is that the bank allowed the funds to go out, but not return, stating that they have many clients and cannot monitor that side of things...

When I last traded in 2015, I could fund and withdraw via my credit or debit card.
Pepperstone have stated that due to regulatory policies they can no longer return it to my card, this may be due to my country of residence.

I am currently working on doing this via PayPal through a local bank that offers PayPal integration. Also in contact with the broker at the moment.

If anybody as any advice on this, I would appreciate it.

Regards,
Ashley
