ive noticed you have the regression channel on many of your charts. I'm wondering if you find that especially beneficial?

I'm assuming it's helpful like a non lagging/leading channel?
Do you ever use the R value?

Hi Zynodic,
This linear regression channel
is for me the fast straight (linear) channel as opposed to the slow curvilinear channel (CCurv).
I would like to point out that it has its share of arbitrariness since it depends on the time segment chosen for its calculation. (A parameter that I don't change anymore. The finesse of the visual varies with the UT. / time unit: 3mn, 45mn, 2H, 1D...).
[Time segment defined by two dots. Each one defined by his distance at the last data.]
1) Useful for determining (by automatic calculation) a reference "speed" and measuring its evolution.
2) Useful for memorizing (Often kept in a manual plot and therefore available under several UTs) a significant trend that it provides momentarily.
This trend will die out but will be reusable (since it is memorized) for later analysis.
Reusable because:
Some historical trends are reactivated on a recurring basis.
Experience shows that such a discretionary analysis is very relevant.
For multi-UT management or to find the trend that will be dominant, or to identify and build a triangle etc
