Subtract 4 trading days = Oct. 5, 1992


12. 1991-1992 Start Date:

Full Moon = Sept. 23, 1991 18:40 ET.

Anchor Date = Sept. 23, 1991

Add 8 trading days = Oct. 3, 1991


13. 1990-1991 Start Date:

Full Moon = Oct. 4, 1990 08:02 ET.

I'll take a look and see how hard it'd be to code this into a TV indicator.

I'm still not convinced that the automatic way is the best way to draw the MM price lines. Any comments?

plus when we establish the start date on the daily TF, at what price level would the bottom left corner be placed?

Bitcoin start date 3/10/2023. 32 bars between time lines, $3125 between price lines.
I've set the bitcoin start date +4 trading days from the anchor date as per the rules. Now I'm wondering whether there's an issue with using 32 calendar days. Should the spacing be 32 trading days converted to calendar days = 46 day spacing?
PS. 32 calendar days seems to fit the previous price swings better than 46.

I have some thoughts on Murrey & would appreciate your input & views.

I remember a date in October as the start date & the date if I recall (doubtful) correctly as being around the 21st of October.

The 1st frost thing IMHO is another Gann tactic to keep everyone from the true start date.

In my years of studying Gann & Murrey it appears Murrey Math has several similarities to Gann's Square of 9.

It further appears the Murrey Math is T.H. Murrey's own self devised derivative of Gann & the Square of Nine & maybe other Gann methods.

Could someone code a better Murrey software that runs in real time, or is that not possible due to copyrights protections?

Several years ago, I used a MM MT4 indicator that someone shared with me that was very good in that price seemed to respect the levels.

Currently I do not use Murrey Math in my trading, but I do see much merit in its use.

Gann & his methods of trading have spawned several spinoffs with varying names & a cast of characters that sing the praises of the methods.

Gann Square of Nine, Murrey Math & Market Matrix have my interest.

That is the challenge with Gann, Murrey & others. Much is open to everyone's own idea of what to do, where to start etc.

I've modified the TV indicator to plot the Murrey Math time lines on the chart. Start date is set as per Alain's post above. Time increments are set to the multiples of 4.
Not sure if it's of any use. just playing around.

I'm not sure what is the need of Murrey confusion when the original GANN levels(Natural Price Levels) are fixed for the full price in more details

Yes it does. Boilinger works to just gives abit more buffer.
This is price action meassurement rather than range .
Beein away have some important work to do.

Found it a real headache to try to measure the whole market range became wery complex and cluttered up my chart.
I could not find any platform being able to measure angles other than python another headache.

Started to see if one could use triangles aswell as angles really is broken down into a algo canvas scene that allows for fractal math. as you only got a scope of range of 180 degrees divided by a centerline and a above and below price speed.

I Found that extension of triangles as they are stretched and reversal triangles tells a story of price action and they should fall into scope of range for angles better.

If i could add this to a model it would be good.

And you have 2 ranges one for all timeframe and one for overall price action on each timeframe.
So to scope out the median you should be able to have Gann monthly bar top and bottom.
Where 45 degree angle meet you have a median . Median is reflected on montly bar. From that median consider it a zero line forward into future you now get 2 more lines from that median a 45 degree angle pointing downwards from the zero line median on the monthly bar and a line up. As they cross new lines you get more medians.
Price will be traveling inside this ranges as long as there are no monthly breakouts of range.
Small problem resides in when price make higher highs and lows that are lower in decline or incline than the median 45 degree angle having price creeping up or down just behind it giving no signals But this can be confirmed easily to when higher highs or lower lows are reached but trendlines remaing unbroken as price creeps below or above them outside range. . And from here i started scoping out on overall price action on all timeframes. Now you start to realize how complex this becomes.
Iam picking this up as soon as i move to python ive had a private small hell sofar with things happening in my surroundings and i did not find it easy to get codes written on platforms even with ai due to compiler documentation was so bad so bad so bad. They could make it easy really. A List of commands and definitions feed it to ai so ai is updated compiling then no problem.

Kwt4x IMHO there is no "Murrey confusion" in the division by 8 of a Price Range to determine key Price Levels.

The Division by 8 of a Price Range AND the use of the Halfway Point as a key Factor IS definitely a Gann Tool, even if I never saw a Gann chart using 9 Horizontal Lines

I Couldnt get the original indys since long time passed i started the research but scoping into one of the fundamentals when i mention setting ranges to meassure market speed i give and example.

Could not find indy for green line. But mt4 do have channel indy just cant apply becouse platform will crash if using this 2 types at the same time.
Parisboy has a point in what hes saying the limitations in movement of a price automatically divides time allowing us to use it. Matematicly you can devide up the whole market in triangles.

Within ranges.
Now the problem is anchor points.
Trendline anchor points are allways a issue. We know how to draw them . 45 degree is a median.
So the reason i post the montly bar ranges is to be able to scope all timeframes all ordinary price action starting with applying same math on the whole market total volume then divide it down all the way to each timeframe and to the triangle acting within that timeframe.

There is no 45° Angle but a (1x1) Angle because your screen is NOT a Square.

As long as anchor points are set correctly the rule 2 will have to be use 45 degrees. This 2 fundamentals gives the starting point.

But a grid can be applied aswell no? I mean with predetermined lines much like PAMA GannGrid Oscillator?

If one used a static grid lets say starting from total volume then scoping down no idea if forex has yearly candles 10 year candles etc but lets say total volume wich is alot more than just a montly bar. At some point you enter the timeframes now the ranges in timeframes compared to the whole would not correlate when ranges are broken thus a addaptive grid could be placed ontop of the statick that alligns with volume . This is getting really complex iam not sure this platforms can handle this. Especially if taken 45 degree angle calculations are a must .

I try very hard NOT to use " complex" tools because my experience is most people do have already a lot of difficulties to master the Division by 8 of a Price Range and the difference between a 45° Angle and a (1x1) Angle (1 Price Unit x 1 Time Unit)
