You've definitely made some changes, but a lot of the stuff is the same as what you are using today. Very cool to see how you've developed over time. I really like how you had a panel on there where you explained the thought process behind your trades... looks like a lot of that reasoning has remained intact.

Morning emuzy ,, to go along with previous posts ,,, from support level up 50 pips to put in just a slightly higher daily high ,,, now into last weeks break out tgt area ,, just a little poke away from this weeks break out tgt area and into a natural chart res area ,,been a long day and not eod yet ,, what does one do ,,, look for the m15 set up that the Z man took yesterday for a crack at the support level down below ,,take you profit and call it a day or keep bumping stp up ,, if wanting to go with the long day theme strike while the iron is hot approach then one waits for the break out level again and see how it acts ,,,, there is still about 7 hours of decent volume left ,,just remember whats around the days open ,,, the weekly ave price ,,if the days open fails what else does ? ,, This is thursday ,, one day of trading left ,,, Even the big boys that were buying the weekly ave are probably gonna start taking some profit with each poke to the highs or beyond for the week all things considered ,,,at the very least one has the entire trip across the range for the day so far by just watching a few levels plus a few little trades during asia and one would have had that every day this week ,,, ,, keep track of what session one is trading in also just adds to the bottom line ,, thats the kinda stuff tht will make you money day after day week after week ,,,not wasting time calculating with rocket formulations on where it might go one dont have to guess or do that ,, keep track of where its been that will tell you where its gonna go when levels start failing ,,, no failures it keeps going till it hits a level that does make it fail

Those are weekly camarilla pivots? Which levels (R1,2,3-S1,2,3?) Mine don't look anything like that...

Went maybe a tad more off the daily cam levels and daily R2 s and S2 s daily pivots back in those days ,,here is a chart with the daily cam levels with the big weekly level circled in orange ,,, not much has changed since then ,, just way better at putting shit together and understanding that the normal trading bullshit jargon which clouded the mind and was being sorted thru slowly back in those days is exactly that ,, just shit lol no doubt about it now

as one can see ,, cam 3 hit ,, poked thru used for support ,, on to h4,,, flg right below it ,, blasted thru on to and thru the daily break out level,,, but all from where ,, the weekly ave price where it has been from all week

yours are the standard pivots ,,, camarillis figured a tad different

A few lines and the averages give you the same thing R ,, you just have to be better at drawing lines on natural chart points ,,the levels dont change

I figured it out, had the calculation set to Cams but you only use 3/4/5 on your chart there, I had 1/2/3 lol... fixed it, almost spot on now. Nice.

The MAs... well, I need to work on these... some of my STF ones are almost identical to what you have, but some of the longer ones are definitely off (like H4 200) Probably something to do with the overall structure differences between futures and FX if I had to guess.

Do you ever use the standard pivots or just the cams?

quarterly levels ,, you can go thru several threads and see it ,,, white boxes ,, its going to the moon ,,all the high rollers that sat under water till it got back there then they pipe up say see told you to the moon to the moon ,,,,, yellow boxes the same only the bear crowd ,,, its going to hell no return ,,,, with out fail ,,, and with one month left in the quarter where is it at ,,,, sitting 40 pips or so from where it started the quarter ,,levels levels levels ,, pick your spots,,, roll with it,,, collect,, rinse repeat loyal to ones own acct ,,forget the bull bear bullshit , take the blinders off and one can pick thru things profitably it goes no where fast and it wont be much of a strait line ,,,, go to being bullish on own acct and one will do just fine

I usually check to see where the standard 2 levels are on weeklys ,, they can be in between and keep levels from being hit ,, but dont keep them on chart most of the time ,,and yea the cam 1 and 2 s are usually just over shoots of the open level ,,dont usually have them on ,,I try and keep chart clear as possible to see the price patterns from certain levels

Ill try and write them down ,,, the main ones are pretty simple ,, weekly is 7200 minutes ,, one week divided by the time frame ,, other than that it is the daily 200s the h4 200s ,,daily ave price is just a 24 ema ,, 24 hours in a day figured for wht time frame you want it on
then you have seen my m1 chart with the 30 min ave ,, just to keep track of an m30 candle ,, you can use an average to keep track of anything ,,you just have to know what you are keeping track of lol,, know what they stand for when you slap something on a chart ,, aint much else to it
Jp1 s gold chart ,, spent a few weeks in limbo between a cam level and a standard pivot quarterly versions ,, broke out and went to a cam level 4 ,, weekly average back to flatter than piss on a plate ,,cant make this shit up traders ,, why guess ,, it is just previous levels ,, start concentrating on what the mkt respects and forget the bullshit ,,take your shot with the highest probabilitys,, the mkt is gonna do what its gonna do no matter how much guessing or calculating one does ,, its gonna just use the same ole levels ,,,,,,,,, rinse,, collect ,, repeat,,,, thts it

Oh what a surprise,, mkt drops on red usd news ,, why would it drop ,, think the big boys dont know what the numbers will be ,, thats the kinda shit they use rocket scientists for ,,crunching numbers on the same ole reports that come out the same time every month every year yad yada ,,, who bought on the red news thinking it would be to the moon by now ,, mkt was at res plain and simple ,, its not gonna do anything any different than it ever does ,,who ever bought on the release probablt got filled in the worst place possible ,,, dont be suprised if it takes a support level or 2 too catch it

sorry looked at cad news same difference ,, mkt expectations beat ,, mkt was at res dont be suprised if a support levels gets bought up,,should tell ya how much I pay attention to news lol and if it doesent ,, dont really care sht from the tgt levels the mkt provided ,, will watch for bounces from same ole areas discussed all day
