Not quite 38.2 yet... fell a few pips short.. shows that sell pressure is still high... I am short from 1.0536 as planned..

Speaking of "monthly" and to keep things super-simple, I have 1.0594 there as touchpoint to the main trendline when projected to new month...

Meaning: if this month closes below this level bearishness will probably continue.. If month closes above, then that would be a whole different story..

I have the feeling before close of the month he wants to test the low of the pre-previous month (April).. which is 1.0470. Well, that could be easily done tomorrow but what to do with the remaining time (day)?

Price may try astray any close of interest to support bull like today 0522, /monthly 0524 or just previous 0546, may those 2 closes much lower to continue bear for now without decision at least. Lets see

PA now, 0541+ not done, that is minimum correction not done yet, likely up above before next leg down for most critical level for now decision 0443 but may signal at 0482 next try next day possible.

I left for Asian's session sell limit at 1.0543 ( around 200SMA on H1 ) with SL at 1.0568. TP open for tomorrow.

I think we should see test area unde 1.05.

Everyone makes mistakes, but only few use equity management.
Daily S/R Levels for Wednesday-Thursday

  1. Price is still trapped between the two yellow barriers and this range is slowly narrowing,
  2. 1.05865 is nearest blockage for bulls and 1.0458 is nearest blockage for bears,
  3. Both of my MACDs, the fast and the slow, srill are in bearish territory!
  4. Based on H1: While below 1.0575, bears will probably keep trying to push this lower.

For bears no price is better than 4hrs closing below 1.0515. That's it. No need a chart.
EUR/USD has pared today's early gains and is trading 0.06% lower at the time of writing as the 1st regional CPI print from Germany came in softer-than-expected.

The pair could see added volatility today with ECB President Lagarde set to speak again, as well as a speech from Fed Chairman Powell. While the ECB's recent hawkish pivot has helped the Euro recover from its multi-year lows, this pair remains locked in a downtrend, continuing to falter at the channel resistance stemming from its February high.

All trading carries risk, but with EUR/USD is currently hovering just above the key 1.0500 level, it should be interesting to see whether comments from both central banks help the pair bounce today, or result in a breakout to the downside.
Meanwhile, on H1...

  1. So far, sell pressure is still effective.
  2. 1.0519 is my nearest resistance area on this timeframe and as long as candles open below it, I keep my short order.

EU tried to recover from yesterdays drop, but didn't manage it and broke yesterdays low at 0504. If, it drops further below 0542, or 0558 then it can reach 0484/70 or, lower to 0469/0445.

Well... EUR will go on lower. The DXY target has not reached yet!
From the chart I would expect EUR 1.0470+- probably within the first or second hour on London trading.

My Original Daily Wave Count

I shared this long time ago and as you can see it is still valid. Now I updated it with my final verdict and fresh calculated levels. As you can see we are now clearly inside a wave 5 down!

  1. 1.0627 is now key resistance and as long as below I think this wave count stays valid.
  2. The potential target and completion point of wave 5 (according to Bill Williams' logic) is somewhere between fib extension 61.8 and 100.. That would be a zone between minimum 1.0358 and 1.0200 max... When we take the average of this zone then the middle would be 1.0290.. pick any of these and stay short until price arrives there (hopefully). I pick the average 1.0290...
  3. The dotted lines are the bottlenecks where choppiness can occur. For the lower dotted line the projected touch level would be 1.0458 area.. There we could see some slowing and struggle but as soon as it breaks the drop should continue..
