This was a good long reversal opportunity off the D1 Pinbar on Wednesday the 15th with next day bullish follow up candle... I wish would have still stayed in it instead of +60pips. I took it off the pullback on 5m resuming back above my ema and fib 38% level. I like how the pullback held its own at 38-50 fib level with Wednesdays Pinbar high playing as a support.
I don't like to post hindsight trade charts but i just stumbled on this thread and thought I make my 2cent out of best recent e/u trade opportunity... next time i post live one.

Current situation , make your plan , trade your plan , eur usually around 80 pips a day altho the last couple have been around 100 , levels pointed out equate to around 100

Hi buddy... if you don't mind me jump in here. I would not have taken a short trade here at all and if there is one I would close it for the simple reason that the e/u is very much bullish for time being.. technically and fundamentally (Trump factor)
This upward move is the most strong and cleanest since April bear trend. It has clearly and strongly broken above the old support turning to resistant (Pink line) and looking to likely test the July high bracket top around 1.1770ish area about 175pips up.
could be a sever loss for you if you hold as it looks bullish strong IMHO.

Sorry just seen this ,, at this point anything you do will be wrong , you dump it it will go and test the untested support ,if you dont it will head to the current weekly high , if you kill it there it will immediately go to the untested brkout level ,, watch the london open trendline if /when it gets much above that I would grit my teeth and kill it stays below watch the untested brk out level a good punch thru that then it may work lower , bout all I can say

i appreciate your response. checking the charts non stop for the passed hour right now in my opinion im seeing short term berishness... im going to hold it for now to minimalize the loss.. it was a powermove that has to retrace at some point so hopefully i will get saved this time. i have learned alot just today with the mistakes ive made and the help from the community who had any input.


if i can hold till -$50 id be happy lol right now the trade is -$115 which is not that much.. but nerve wrecking at the same time

Goodmorning fellow trader..

Be very careful, it looks bullish to me also. I am feeling that you cannot look objectively to the charts anymore, at this time of the day we have very low volume, don't let this trick you.

If i were you i would place my SL above the last high and if that is taken out, re-think your process and especially your risk management before re-entering the market.

I've been there my friend! nowadays i'm for; 1. cutting losses. 2. cutting losses. Rule #3; cutting losses.

I'd just like to know how ppl found an entry long today and where,
I made my move last night. Here was my logic: On the hour chart the EUR gained all day demonstrating a bullish trend. There was a rally last night that I could not account for by either breaking news or any specific technical indicator. After the rally the candle sold off to create a long wick. The RSI was around 80 so I anticipated a consolidation followed by another bullish move. I waited for the consolidation then went long on EUR when the RSI had breathing room. I set my SL just below the low of the consolidation. It worked to perfection and I was able to get out once the RSI was overbought (well over 80) which was near the 1.1600 mark. I was able to bank a solid profit before the pull back to 1.1570. Hope that helps!

there is also one more point and that is identifying when to trade and when to just ignore the market entirely

technically on h1 and h4 rsi is still in the bullish territory, i am just banking on the divergence to give me a good trade
