I trade only EURUSD M5, based on Stop-Run Strategies (easier said than done). check this chart, every arrow is a Stop-Run if you look carefully there are many more.
Btw. EURUSD is the biggest asset being traded daily on the planet, bigger than the whole Stock Market put together.
EURUSD:more than $5 trillion in daily average turnover, whilst the whole Stock Market is around 300 billion.

$5 trillion in daily turnover, it's not possible to manipulate it by the random dudes with Big money. The market rules on EURUSD.
For M5 I use automatic system like EA. The speed is too high on the 5 min chart.

To learn fundamental analysis takes years, much easier to learn technical analysis first as this can be done in weeks. But I will give brief example of why EURUSD is going up when both CB"S are cutting.

All markets are manipulated. It would be impossible to make money in any market if the market is random.

I call the small manipulators "the movers." The small movers are random and make the moves where they see easy pickings. A classic example of a small currency manipulator was George Soros run on BOE. But that was before EURUSD so I will stay with EURUSD.

The main direct manipulators for EURUSD are the ECB and the FOMC. Minor indirect manipulators of the EURUSD are SNB, BOJ, and PBOC. And now we have the new kid on the block called the BRICS currency.

The short reason the EURUSD will rise is holding USD currency offers higher interest rate than holding EURO currency. As rates get lowered, this advantage will be less when EURO AND USD offer similar rates. Money flows to where the most attractive rates are.

Most important point on rate decreases and increases, the markets buy on rumor and sell on the fact.

Thank you both for the info! It makes a little more sense now. Technicals are definitely easier to learn and deal with than fundamentals that’s for sure.
Consistency is key
ECB and the FOMC are the regulators, not manipulators.
Don't know anything about BOJ
Quick H4 Outlook for Monday

  1. As long as H4 candles open above 1.1052-ish levels, the missing shoulder of a potential Inverted H&S might be slowly forming. Therefore, patience is needed before looking to buy dips!
  2. If 1.1052 area acts supportive, bulls then still have to break above 1.1084-ish levels for bullish continuation. Otherwise, this goes sideways into a squeeze until an explosive breakout from either side.
  3. Overall: bulls have the upper hand for now.

Today there are no high-impact economic data releases in the economic calendar, even Japanese and Chinese bank holidays may reduce transaction volume. EURUSD is now consolidating near the middle band line which is a means of price deviation.

  1. I didn't expect bulls to hurry for a retest of recent highs so early, but here we are...
  2. Now: ~1.1106 area (H&S shoulder line) seems like a tough nut to crack.. I have hope though.. Let's see...
