Trucco, Canadian was released two minutes early on Bloomberg. NFP was released around 5 seconds after the minute. However, you are right about a push before the news came out. I suppose it is possible something got leaked or there were gamblers anticipating the number before hand. I don't have 1 second graph though I do have the minute close.

Perhaps the spread caught your stop? Oanda was 10. If the spread was large enough with your broker, it may have touched your stop at 2793 knocking you out.

I believe that the NFP numbers were known by some traders before the release...I was watching the gold market at that time, specifically, the book orders on the exchange & noticed that obvious accumulation was being made in the range of $652-$655 (For the Dec 06 contract), & when the numbers of the NFP were released, gold shot up to $665 & then pulled back as the market makers who were accumulating at the bottom range closed their positions at the $665 levels causing the price to decline back...
Amazingly, the ECBOT suspended the trading due to technical difficulties (As reported) & then resumed trading once again canceling many transactions made before 10:30 AM...I got this message through my broker....Something fishy happened for sure, but nobody exactly knows what....
