So if a trade is open on friday, it have not touched TP, not close to being stopped out.. what do you do? just collapse it, no matter if it's + or -? same with news?

sorry if i'm repeating the question somewhat..

{quote} Ok, I, ll try to put it another way: Suppose, a notrend builds up and you go long on the pullback. You win and it pulls back again (still in notrend): you pass. Then it goes out of the yellow and a trend trade comes along: you take it (2nd long in a row). Another trend long comes up: you pass. Now we reverse and the same thing for shorts... Version H2 and 03 is very slow all over sudden and not taking trades.

what do you call a "pullback" , when price changes direction? but which price white1/2 or yellow? i need precise strategy (like white1 > white2 , etc) and english isn't my mother tongue

Maybe this graph makes it a bit clearer. Watch out with white 1/2: the indicator labels are 2 and 1 (the other way around), don't know why. Yellow labels are ok.
Note the buy with green letter: the white 1 is not "up" as required but it was before the candle closed.

This looks very interesting. I will give it a good look over the weekend.
It looks like a momentum method.

liunliun, 您好, (我住在深圳和芝加哥)....
Have you ever tried this system using a range bar instead of a 2h "time" bar?
I will experiment with this system using various ranges, say 9 to 20 range. I have found that
using range bars instead of time bars smooth the swings out.
I have seen a system similar to this using range bars and two different Keltner Channels with different settings.
The idea was to trade on the momentum reversals.

Hello. A question. We said that a trend up is when W2> Y1 and when W2 [0]> W2 [1] this seems clear to me it is correct. I did not understand how W1 should behave, should she also follow a trend up or can she go down? Thanks for the answers and sorry for my English.
