What leverage is best for a newbie?

A lot of contradictory information here and even some jokers...
I was thinking about 50:1 or 100:1 for 300usd acc. Sounds solid enough?

If the leverage is high it means you will lose quick. Don't rade max. leverage as a newbie. When you have exp. you may try.

Of course, new traders should take care of trading leverage issue, they should use the leverage as minimum as possible.

newcomer always excited with high leverage, they think only high leverage can bring high profit in a short time , but most of the time i have seen they become loser by using high leverage because there is no money management and any trading plan. so, how many pips you can earn from leverage , it completely depends on you Money management approach.

yes so many times i did huge losses as a newcomer when using leverage , it contains huge risk , so beginners level should trade without it for avoiding risk and losses.

I'm interested to know what are the effects of leverage in a flash crash situation. On Jan 3rd, audnzd crashed. I was trying out a new system with a demo account and my sl had been hit. My demo account didnt take any big loss because i trade max 2% per trade and use a leverage of 30:1. My risk to reward was at 1:1. I had audnzd and another pair open. My plan is to have max 3 opens positions at any given time. I was thinking if i had been using a real account and the price jumped my sl because of price gab or market not having enough liquidity. How would this have effected my account. Would i have been better off with lower leverage like 10:1. Can someone shed some light on the effects of leverage and flash crash/black swan events on accounts.

Can you please explain,why using a leverage contains huge risk?
If i'm risking 3% of my capital as risk exposure per opened positions,does it make difference,if I'll use 1:30 or 1:200???
Will i risk more,if I'll use 1:200,instead of 1:30?

Basically, using leverage is not risky; but using the high leverage without a proper plan is risky. Besides, risk reward ratio is another important parameter.

despite of having most powerful analyzing trading plan leverage can make us loser when trading in practical , because moves at random most of the time and there is no risk limit in here. so be careful when using high leverage particularly.

New traders being unaware of the market conditions should keep the leverage low in start because high leverage can cause higher losses as well.

using low leverage is very good decision for a beginners level but they can use high leverage in demo to see the performance how it works , high leverage can make you loser when trading , it can bring profit also but need most powerful analyzing trade knowledge and risk management capability.

The rule of the thumb is: Never take leverage that your account can not afford to pay. For newbies, take the least leverage possible. I would go for 1:100, if you feel less confident, take less. High leverage comes with high risk and probably high profit. Though high losses can also come in that same manner, and this applies to all traders, not just newbies

I personally believe, using 1:1000 leverage as a newbie is much higher as it increases the risk of losses. Those using the higher leverage have to be extra careful when price moves against them. Once you become comfortable with market conditions and able to manage risks while trading then you should jump to higher leverage. But being a newbie, I advise you to start trading with low leverage.

by and large beginners always take leverage as a financial thing that can bring very rapidly , yes by using leverage there is a chance to bring good amount of profit , on the contrary it can causes a great risk and losses. leverage its all about risk issue , so before using it try to manage risk.

i think ideal leverage should be between 10-30 for a newbie
