Bogus Forex award or legit?

I wanted to start a thread so the Forex Factory community can post all those ridiculously BOGUS, non existent, or just plain made up Forex awards that we see in so many broker's sites nowadays

I'll kick it off with one of my personal favorites: FBS Online Broker

Usually scam brokers at the very least go through the hoops of coming up with credible "award" names, and they make it sound like they were the winners of a long list of shortlisted brokers....well not FBS, they simply came up with "Best mini Forex-broker".....ha!!!! Of course we all know about this coveted FX industry award



But FBS didn't stop there, as they saw fit to give themselves the award YET again the year after !! And to make it even more WOW, they added "but this time on a global scale. " meaning the previous was only at a local level? (FYI they are headquartered in Belize, but they don't service customers from Belize )



The following year FBS' self awarding ambition didn't stop there as they stormed the Asian markets and awarded themselves 3 more awards !!!



By now, you kind of know where the movie is going, and just one year later, they REALLY let it rip and "won" (you guessed it) 4 awards !!!



In order to not make it so predictable, the year that followed, they kept it humble and only re-awarded themselves prizes they had awarded themselves before



But this was just the calm before the storm for what was about to come the year after...an unprecedented and whopping 11 awards !!!!!!

You should google a little bit before posting. These awards are neither invented nor auto-awarded. They exists and other borkers have received them as well. If this is to be taken seriously or not when choosing a broker is another question. FBS appears to be subscribing to every award they can find, but this doesn't mean it is bogus.
Anyway thanks for the post, I'd like to give a try to their cent-MT5 account.

Forget about awards, some outright sell them, most are only about who gives the most sponsor-dollars.
