Great result averaging over 12% a month but what was the max equity drawdown during the period? Was the equity curve smooth.

Also can you talk a little about your testing strategy over the last 3 years. Did you manage to use MT4 strategy tester in any way or were you forward testing all the different combinations to come up with the final set you are comfortable with?

Hi Freefox, max DD was 5% as max daily loss is 5% based on the SL.

I can't speak for how the equity curve looks, but below you can see the monthly profits, and that there was only 1 losing month with this preset.

I did not do any back testing, only forward testing, adapting, changing and optimizing the preset over time.

Hi,

Hats off for not giving up! Do I understand from your final settings that when VB target of +20pips is not met within one hour from 9:15 GMT, the VB is closed and no new VB is triggered? Basically it attempts to trade once per session and if criteria is not met, it will not attempt to trade again during day.

Yes correct, for the daily set the VB uses a 20 pip trigger, and for my weekly preset I'm using a 30 pip trigger.

Hi Ilvez, yes that's correct. If an RB has not been triggered in the first hour then to me it means there's not enough volatility and momentum for that session based on the pairs suggested by the indicator, and so there will be no trade for that day.

Many thanks, will run some forward testing as well.

In some days it could be useful to have several VB runs as I see it. Basically today I had real profit targets closed within 1 hour (2 minutes in VB). Then manually reopened VB, which netted again virtual +100pips. Sure, days are different but will drop Jess an e-mail whether some looping option could be added to VB runs. E.g. option to re-open VB after RB is closed with TP. And option for a setting VB opening timeframe, so it will not be opened after certain time within one session.

That is more likely happening cos of incomplete history. Run this script so it can load all history then try the indicator again.

It looks like the script has not downloaded all the history for all the pairs successfully so its still giving an error, very strange.

Try restarting your terminal and opening a new chart and running the script. Also hide any pairs that you are not trading.

Should i hide it from the market watch or from the indicator?

Important question - should we use CMSM v17.02 of 21.05? V17 is MA and 21 is PA based as I understand.
