I think you are reading the table wrong.
In total you have (or had) 0.55 lot open and if they are all at once used margin needed will be around $110.
That is not to high risk.....on the other hand 55 trades for a buck 45 profit....

Hi to all friends and everybody attempt on this way.
Regarding that you use multiple setting at running the EA, it is maked confusion for somebody or some newcomers. Now witch one of used elements has the most effective on the results of the trading, etc. broker, level, hour of day, session, true, fulse, time to closing trade, days, and many of this kind of settings. If this parametter be modified, we will exit from this confusion and we will research only on the elements that have more effective. Or tell me which one of these parameters are more important than others for you. Ok?
I thank you very much if give us a summary answer.
Green pips you all the time.

{quote} That is to expect with 127 trades open. For next week it would advice you took set profit locks because 3034.7 pips/week should be more than enough. And once the "target" is reached stop for this week. FPB strategy.

You missed the part where he advised to use "Profit Lock"

In the picture I see the balance is now negative after being up +3,000 ???

So if you get to +10,000 will you let it turn around and go negative -1,000 ???

You need to set a high target, I understand, what will you be happy with considering what you have seen so far?

Then set that as target, maybe +5,000, then have the Profit Lock start at +1,000 and 50% of that = 500

Then every 500 up, it will trail an extra 500, at least you will close in profit, isn't that the way to trade?

Good luck next week

Weekly basket (10080) with ccfp FF.
Sells are converted to buys to indicated the positive gain of all pairs.

Now you can see why you made money on Thursday and are about to lose it Today.
Daily pivot is slowing things down but not for long.

I will do the same for monthly.

This is the monthly ccfp signals from monday 00:00

So if you had traded just one basket at a time for this week based on ccfp 43200 you could (should) have made around 1244 pips.

Ccfp daily and monthly, go figure it out.
Hint. daily ccfp sees some short term up movement in the Sterling while monthly is following the obvious trend which is Sterling down.

1.84 lots over 92 trades that is 0.02 lot/trade.
Normal reporting standard is to mention that (o, and your settings/trade style).

{quote} From the FPB setup i delete baskets manually which contain more than 80~90% duplicates, less than 5 pairs or really contradicting buy/sell signals per pair. I am mostly left with FPB's CCFp_10080_FF_L2 + CCFp_1440_FF_L2 + CCFp_1440_10080_TF_L2 so three out of the 6 baskets. What i said was that the "old" MTF ccfp indicator had no separate settings for each period. So if you selected W1 + D1 and set the params to FF both W1 and D1 would work with FF while it makes more sense to run W1 as FF but D1 with FT or TT settings. You can do that with...

Okay, thanks for that reply.

Do you think you will release a manual showing all the settings and how they affect the output?

Failing that, what do you suggest as best for short term, session by session trading?

I would expect similar to what is used now, the standard 1440 TF L2

Do I put that in Low time frame and set the "Use Medium / High" selection to False?

Here is a readout where none of these pairs are in profit from London open

This indicator is now part of FXM_Diff, called strength.

As you can clearly see The FF 10080 says Sterling up but just before LO open the pound already took a turn (based on the news today ??).
So do not set you indicator update interval to long because you will be missing the current (may it be short lived) trends.

Hello FxMadness,

Woke up this morning to a frozen platform, the only way that I could close it was by using Task Manager.

Re-started the platform and took 10 minutes to load. Removed and re-attached EA and indi with ootb settings with exactly the same results.

I've tried everything that my ancient brain can think of including removing both indi and EA from the platform, which restores previous speed levels, downloading a fresh copy of the EA from the forum and loading it into the platform then opening a new chart and dragging the newly downloaded EA onto the chart using the out of the box settings and this is what I get:

As you can see FXM indicator is not in the indicator list, in fact no indicators are loaded in the EA at all, and yet not only are the same signals showing under pin6 as were there yesterday if I allow auto trading on pin6 then the EA will actually place trades.

I need to go out and get some fresh air so I'm shutting everything down for the weekend and hope that I can think of a remedy that does not involve opening a new account with a different broker.

This is exactly what I had in mind when I posted the other thread about using the double gap as an entry filter. Well done!

Had another successful basket at LO with a slightly higher target than Tokyo. Didn't enter NY today (because it's Friday and because I closed every basket in profit this week and didn't want to press my luck). Still using 10080, TF, Level 4. Entering at TO plus 10 min and LO plus 10. I'll post the results for the week when I get home from work.
