Opening hours of the basket is just using the GMT time that is set in the set files. I see it opening at the correct time just before the London open.

Today all 3 presets made 2.5% profit. First preset closed 8:11GMT, second preset closed 9:07GMT and third preset closed 8:15GMT.

If you tell me this i start to think about is not a reliable EA because open different for different users and we don't know why and if influence performance in long term run this discrepance. Today for me open only preset nr.2 and not close yet , in floating positive actually at 1.14 pm ( rome gmt)

Yes besides the open time there is no difference. The open time is the only thing that is different as in just 15 mins a lot can change in currency strength and the currency suggestions can change leading to a different result. Opening the basket at the right time is 80% of the strategy.

Do you mean am or pm ? Because GMT close basket for set files is 16.45 so that hours looks strange ? if open at 7.45am and max close at 16.45 how is possible close for you at 8.11 , 9.07 , 8.15 ?? so if market open that hours is not enought for reach 2.5% if is 8.11 pm is too late for basket close. Please explain.

I don't know exactly why you having different results, but the broker can definitely be a reason. This topic was covered many times in this thread already. I would suggest any broker that has low spreads and uses NY close as EOD.

Another reason could be your data history, make sure you have all the history downloaded for all the 28 pairs. A history script was shared in the thread before, maybe you can download it and run it on your MT4 and set your max bars in history and chart to 5000. Having all the history will help the CMSM indicator make the correct currency strength suggestions.

Basket today of preset nr.2 close exactly ( in small loss) at 16.55 GMT .

mrdfx I have run the historical downloader and am using Pepperstone which has low spreads and uses NY close as end of day.

Mike the closing times I list are AM GMT. They closed in profit of 2.5% for each preset. The preset has lot size set as lots per balance so with the number of pairs selected and the lot size allocated per the balance this was enough time for the EA to close in profit.

I've attached the trades from the first preset from yesterday. Maybe this can point to what I may be doing differently.

i see 0.65 lot so this was intended the capital (demo or real) is around 15k , right?

Yes was around 16k on demo account. Base currency AUD. I should try reducing the lot sizes so the trades last longer.

Today preset 2 opened basket and closed in loss in 37 minutes.

Actually we test the latest preset given from @mdrfx ( you can find in the previous posts) , so i don't know if somebody use that indicator.
Today open only preset nr.1 and close now ( 11 am GMT) with -5% of loss.

GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) so for this ea the parameter of open basket is set up at 7.45 am GMT , and london stock exchange market open at 8 am GMT obviously.

Yes preset 3 did not open orders this week yet, and has made the least profit so far this month.

If you look at the test results it was the 3rd best so it is following the same as before. Slower results yes, but still making profit.
