How to find detailed statistics of real trades?

Peace. I'm using mt4. How to find detailed statistics of real trades like the backtest statistics or even more detail? Can it be done in mt4 or will I have to use a service? Free option is best but if u know another option do chime in. Thanks.

You can save the detailed trade history from MT4 or use one of the many services available for free: myfxbook, fxlue, fxstat ....

There are multiple options you can do. First is, you can directly save the detailed report from your MT4 terminal by going to the account history. You can covert this file to excel as well and do your analysis. Second one is if your account is linked to myfxbook or mql5 or fxblue, you can easily see and analysis your trading results from there itself.

One of the best tools I have found is an app called EA Analyzer by a company named StrategyQuant. That app is currently is in the version 4, and is expensive. But I found the version 2 for free. Just google it.

That app gives you very detail information of your strategy, makes MonteCarlo simulations with the results, lets you merge your strategies to simulate entire portfolios, and of course everything is compatible with MT4.
