Brokers can see if an order is opened manually or by an EA/script.

Yeah I don't think they should see your charts.. anyway how's your strategy? Would you mind posting it?

Depends on the broker and software you are using. If your data is stored at the brokers database then in theory the broker can see them. The question is why should he do that? Definitely not to scam you, there are more effective ways.
You can run strategy on one broker and take deals on clean sheet on another broker, then you got 100% security!

NO. The broker cannot "SEE" what you have on your charts. The broker can tell if your trades are triggered manually or by an EA, but they cannot see your indicators, drawings etc. They have no access to your templates.

What i do is.......look for "boxes" where price has been ranging. i look to my indicators to see where it is most likely to break.........ie bull or bear and i wait till i get an angle greater than twenty degrees on the three ema. and off i go. works better on hour and up. not bullet proof, nothing is. if you manage to catch a decent breakout you can scale in multiple times

Are you guys 100% sure that my broker can't see the indicators I use in my MT4? Because there's this "journal" window where I can see which custom made indicators get loaded?
So it would mean my broker can't see this journal?

The journal tab isn't on the broker side.

The broker cannot see your charts. However, it can determine very easily whether the trades were triggered manually or by some sort of automated system (EA).
You may notice; many brokers don’t allow trading EA. And they block traders account because of using trading robots. That means, they are (maybe not all of Forex brokers).

Hi friends, I am confused here, i just asked same question (can broker see at their master terminal what a trader applied which indicator on mt4/5 with which settings?) a person who works for b book fx firm, he replied YES. Here in this thread almost everyone said NO including FerruFx. My problem is, I have to open many charts with many time frames and handling 3 live accounts so cannot handle many mt4/5 in another demo. Anyone has solid answer to this question would be great, many thanks.
