MT4 Compiler Build prior to Build 6xxx

Does somebody still has a MT4 Compiler for a Build prior to 6xxx ?

You can run the build 509 compiler in conjunction with the latest MT4 builds, like this:

1. Download the 'Build 509 compiler.ZIP' attached to this post, and unzip the 4 files inside into your MQL4 folder. These are the only 4 files that you need.

2. Run metaeditor.exe in the .../MQL4 folder to obtain the build 509 editor/compiler. Open any indicator.mq4 files from .../MQL4/Indicators folder, EA.mq4 files from the .../MQL4/Experts folder, etc to load them into the editor. Make your changes and compile. Then return to MT4, open the Navigator (press Ctrl-N), right click in the Navigator area, and click 'Refresh'. This updates the .ex4 file. You must refresh every time you make changes to an indicator or EA.

One small quirk: the build 509 compiler expects to find any .mqh files in the .../MQL4/Experts/include folder (create this folder if it doesn't exist) rather than in the .../MQL4/Include folder.

thanks a lot for the hint.

When I try to compile my indicator I get the error " using of decompiled source code is prohibited ".

I tried to remove all the variable starting with " _", also I copied the indicator in a new file. Same problem.

Can you help me please ?

I am sorry, I have never encountered that error before.

But if you post the MQ4 file, I will try compiling it on my computer, provided that it isn't decompiled code (i.e. the error message is the result of the editor not being installed correctly).
