Your question is not clear enough. Filter could be trading session. Filter could be best pair. Filter could be candle pattern, indicator, ma setting so on.

Hope you'll find whatever you're searching.

I use TDI + Stochastic + MA + Fibo Ex + My Personal Prediction
So far so good, as long as winning trade is more than losing trade...

Two eyes, one brain. One eye is OK but the brain is non-negotiable!
Too tired to argue. Too old to care.

The best filter is practice. There is no magic filter more good than both trained eye and brain. The more practice you do,
the stronger the filter. After some time, you start to decryptt market behaviour and you start learn how the price move.
It moved same way in the past, it move same way in present and it will move same way in future. The time when price will move different will be the day when the anarchy will be released on the Earth or when there will be an mass evolution/transformation.

"There are only patterns, patterns on top of patterns, patterns that affect other patterns. Patterns hidden by patterns. Patterns within patterns.
If you watch close, history does nothing but repeat itself.
What we call chaos is just patterns we haven't recognized. What we call random is just patterns we can't decipher. what we can't understand we call nonsense. What we can't read we call gibberish.
There is no free will.
There are no variables.
"
Money moves the market, not an indicator.

The best filter for trading is to remove all of the indicators. That filters out the noise and allows you to focus on what is important. Price is the best indication.
You can also use multiple time frames or higher and lower level charts to find difference in trend.

I use the 20 EMA as a Filter
I look at higher time frames usually the 4 hour or the Daily for a signal and then drop down to either 15 or 5 min charts.
I find the 20 ema helps me find the short momentum bursts and it helps keep me in the trade.
When price starts hugging or closing under the 20 ema its then time to get out of the trade and look for other set ups.
