Better save some money and practice till you're 21.

Try to stay with brokers that are regulated in the UK,USA&CA.

FPA is not the best place to look for reviews.

If you only have 500 bucks Oanda is the best with it's own trading platform that will allow you to trade smaller size orders than standard 0.01 lots.
I have been a satisfied customer of Oanda for one year.

Best place to trade equity is local stock exchanges NOT Cfd instruments instead. Price variations aren't that competitive and roll over charges can pain you most of the times. Most of CFD brokers perform spooky price behavior as i seen recently seen sudden 1000+ pips drop in oil prices which NOT happened in local stock exchanges.

So honest CFD = Nah ...It's money maker module itself.

if you don't mind trading an equity index like S&P500, Nikkei 225 etc, Ikon Finance is a good one.
