Sorry, I was grandstanding to my dear friend EcoTrader.
No easy way. Not even for me but you know, I gotta defend the honor of TA here and there.

{quote} Great advice...now please tell me what works in TA. I have been struggling for months to find something that works consistently on NQ(futures). Nothing to my liking on most delivered indicators and most strategies I have come across over the years. Why? I have no freaking idea. I am at a loss lol

NQ is tough to trade. You might want to use the Ichimoku strategy as developed by Dutchy Daxy here https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=819560

Thanks. I am desperate to succeed and willing to try anything and everything but it HAS to be automated strategy for me. I could be losing my vision (AMD is in my genes) so cannot rely on manual trading to generate income forever. Rule-based "supervised" systemic trading is fine but I cannot be waiting and starring/analyzing charts for more than a hour or so. 35+ yrs of screentime with over 80+hours every week has finally taken it's toll.... rude awakening really for those who don't understand why health issues eventually catches up to everyone in their 50s and 60s (I am only 52!)

Sorry to hear that. I too have thousands of hours of screen time but I have been rather anal about my vision and have all my monitors on the lowest brightness possible. Everyone bitches about it because they cant see the screen but I still don't need to wear glasses because of it. Turn all your screens down as it burns your eyes and weakens them. Never watch a screen in total darkness

Thanks. I sleep a minimum of 5 hours in night no matter what time I go to bed. I have yet to break this rule. plus I take two 15minutes catnap sitting on my sofa and one 60-90 min afternoon sleep. Outside of night hours, I use these to nudge my level of subconciousness around me... mostly in a meditative way to visualize things that I am unable to see around me.

I have been working with computers since 7th grade ever since I was introduced to BASIC language and wrote my "Hello World" program. Since laptops became available, I have never used a monitor until last year so big mistake! I also never cared to use sun glasses by driving for hours on long road trips... big mistake!

Now I am trying to reverse the damage so let's see how long I last. I no longer use laptop on my 'lap' and told my boss to get me setup on ipad to spare my fingers from typing. Have carpal tunnel as well. so yeah... I am damaged goods up there and everywhere lol

Do not blame the monitors.
I have been behind them since (see profile picture) and even way before that.
Old(er) age is probably what is doing it.

I use 2 monitors only; and of quality (Dell). tried other brands; but found Dell to be the best for the eye.

More than 2 monitors will be bad for the eye. At work I hade 6 monitors setup once; as I thought it would be sexy. A month later; I took off 4; and left 2.

There were sexy ladies in the office that I need to look at; instead of my ugly 4 monitors.

IMHO, high screen time must be related with trading styles. Higher time frame swing traders usually don't need much screen time once they found edge. I only come to my monitor screens when I find the market interesting. Otherwise, I go out to have some walk or play PS4 games or watch TV. Personally, I don't take automated trading seriously (especially when it's a home made robot). Trading is much more complex than chess play and has to control many unexpected factors. That's why Warren Buffett still beats robot traders. AI will eventually take out human traders in the future but then I guess the conventional markets we know may disappear soon, because I think we don't need to rely on markets to achieve efficiency any more. AI will do that for us instead in more elegant ways.

From Capitalone. Dear Gokhul544 my advice for you is to use a hedging formula to save your account if your broker allows that because this move is likely to continue up to 1.14500, this is my trade and my target if is not ok by you, you are free to do otherwise.

Fom Gokhul544 FROM EURUSDONLY
